Meet Fresh — Restaurant in Chandler

After checking out Teso Life, my friend and I were desperately needing some boba to revive us. My friend had gone to another location of Meet Fresh and had enjoyed it, so we hit this location up.

Right off the bat, they have an extensive menu with everything from dozens of boba tea drinks to bingsu to hot dessert items. I feel like one needs to come here multiple times to try more than one or two things out at a time! The interior was plain as all heck which was shocking for how fun the menu looked, but at least there was plenty of seating especially when rushes come in.

I’m a sucker for anything with a smoothie consistency, and was appalled that there were only TWO (2) smoothie options under the plethora of drink options. They only had a strawberry smoothie and another dark colored smoothie that didn’t look that appetizing to me, so I ordered the strawberry smoothie with added boba. My friend ordered the classic brown sugar milk tea with added boba.

My friend really liked hers and compared it to another brown sugar milk tea drink she had at another boba place, and she preferred this one! I enjoyed my strawberry smoothie as well! I was pleasantly surprised to get some grass jelly in there that I didn’t know was going to be in there! They were delicious. The boba was extremely soft, but a little too tiny for my liking. I found I was getting one caught in the back of my throat more often than I liked, which has never happened to me out of all the hundreds of boba drinks I’ve consumed lol. The actual strawberry flavor was nice though, not artificial tasting, and certainly had the color of real strawberries. They also fill it up with jellies/boba, which is much appreciated for an $8 drink 😮‍💨 I just wish they had more smoothie/slush flavors!

Didn’t try the bingsu but seeing everyone’s orders of it… it truly looks immaculate! I definitely want...

-Quite disappointed with the attitude of the old employee to the new employee. (7/29/2023 Around 7:45PM to 8:00PM).

This is not a review of this restaurant's food and drink, everything is delicious and wonderful, but today I went to buy drinks and happened to see the old staff of the store training new employees. The new girl is really happy, dedicated to the customer, I am quite happy because the new employee so they are excited to work. But everything brought my mood down with the old employee's act of slamming the glasses down with her hand when the new employee asked if it was the right way to decal the drink order. And the attitude of the old employee (she was the tallest in the shop) was annoyed and used a glass-smashing attitude to confront the new employee. I understand that the new employee will slow down the working process a bit, I understand how it feels to be crowded but slow, but that attitude is really disappointing. Also she is a newbie, show your professionalism in a crowded place. The old employee should think before joining, just like the current newcomer, that unprofessional attitude will judge her person. I'm a very easygoing person, but today I couldn't take it anymore so I wrote this review. I really feel sorry for the new employee, she understands the problem but still smiles...

Another disappointing visit. My family and I decided to give this place one more try, hoping that this time around it would be better. However, it was made clear to us to stay away. Let's start with the customer service. There was two girls working at the time, and the girl who was taking the order. Her attitude is as if she doesn't care at all, and she gives you that condescending look when you place an order. There's no smile, no greeting, and she seems annoyed when taking your order. We tried ordering a matcha smoothie, but she said, 'No, we don't have it!' Then when we ordered a mango shaved ice, she said, 'We don't have mango.' I was puzzled by her answers.

Anyways, the shaved ice looked more like crushed ice. For a second, I thought I had ordered a snow cone from an ice cream truck. Not to mention, one of our drinks had hair inside. When I showed it to her, she just stared at me as if asking, 'What do you want me to do about it?' I had to tell her to make me another drink. She simply grabbed the drink and tossed it out, without offering any apologies. This place is a joke. I have been to locations in Seattle and many in Southern California, and I have to say that this location...
