We went here for Mother’s Day but we knew it was going to be crazy busy so we decided to do Brunch instead. Once we got there it only took 5 minutes to get a table because a ton of people were leaving so they were cleaning up. No problem! The hostess was great! However, once we ordered it took about 45 minutes to get our food and I would understand if they still were swamped but they weren’t. Families that were coming in were being seated immediately(plenty of open tables) Once they brought our food out I noticed my waffle was cold. (Cold as in it had to of been sitting for at least 20-30 minutes cold) Our waitress never came back to check on us, so I had to wave down another worker. (He was great, he was on it) During the whole time I was waiting for my waffle to be remade, the waitress still never came back to check on us. She never even asked if our food was okay, we were never asked if we needed a refill on drinks or anything! My kids felt bad for eating their food and I wasn’t eating but I told them not to worry because if they waited on my food, their food would be could as well. Mistakes happen BUT because no one ever came to apologize and because of the service I would never go back to this location. Again, I know they were swamped probably a hour before us but it was not busy at all when we were there. (We sat 4 tables from hostess stand and at any given moment there were at least 3-5 workers chatting and making conversation including the manager) Just really bummed that we drove 22 miles to a place that didn’t care...
Read moreOrdered our food it came out cold (later was communicated from manager that they were short staffed) Asked for a Manager lady came out and acted bothered by our request to remake the food. She went to remake while leaving the cold food on our table. She came back awhile later and took the plates and our silverware.
One of our dishes finally came out and we waited 5 mins for new silverware and decided to just grab it off another unoccupied table. We asked the server to take the ice tea off our bill as it tasted off.
The manager came by upset saying she not going to waive the whole bill. We looked confused and communicated what we told our server. We just requested wanted off was the ice tea. She gave us attitude and I recommend she should come to verify the message we gave to our server before she reacts in an unprofessional manner.
I asked to speak to her boss and she told us he wasn’t here today. Then she came back and said he is here but doesn’t want to talk with you. I asked her to point him out she refused. I asked one of the servers to get him to come to the front as he stayed in the kitchen.
I tried to be as friendly as possible to the owner about our experience and he flat out won’t listen to me and told me my prospective on our experience is wrong. The feeling I got from him is it’s all about the money and if you don’t like it then your business won’t be missed. He told me they normally don’t remake the order even if they are cold and it was a miracle...
Read moreWaitress ghosted me for most of the time. She wasn't even the one who brought the food, so her function was more like.a cashier. Take order then give the bill. Later I was ready to order something else (dessert or extra side, don't remember) but no one was around to ask. Which is so weird at a time when restaurants are having a hard time and when most of the tables were empty so they weren’t even busy. Then she showed up a while later, gave me the bill and didn’t even ask me if I needed something else.
So why am I paying 20% for service to be completely ignored ? Maybe cuz I was asking about some pricing trying to optimize my value but I’m still ordering a $25+ order and I always tip 20% or above. I think she presumed I’m a penny pincher and won’t tip her anyway? Wrong assumption. So I decided I’m only doing 15% this time probably for the first time in my life, and that’s generous. The restaurant missed out on extra $$ and the mobile cashier (aka waitress) missed out on extra tip.
On the other hand the burger was top notch. Melted like a butter in my mouth. Maybe they train their chefs well but not...
