This is the worst McDonald's location in Houston. Every single thing is less than 1 star. Service is terrible, they can't manage the two lanes so the orders are always wrong. They'll hand you a bag, you tell them it's wrong, hand you another bag, wrong again, then they ask for your receipt. Food is awful and cold. McDonald's is known for their great fries, but not here, these are the worst fries ever. They are old, chewy, cold, no flavor at all except for grease, and it's every time. The staff here won't usually pop out the fry containers like they should, so you get a flat container with very little fries in it. No one likes getting ripped off by paying for one size, but you only get half that amount because they're too lazy or cheap to open the container. I figured the food would be ok sometimes at least by accident, but it's never even decent. The lines are too long for there to never be fresh fries and the buns taste old and stale. The wait time is way longer than it should be. They usually give the wrong drink and you don't know until you get home. They sometimes tell you to pull up and wait, they bring you the bag and walk off, and you see it's wrong and you now have to park and go in when you were already there for 15 min, now you're inside another 15 min. The workers are extremely rude and act bothered to be there. No one apologizes for any of it. They act like you're bothering them when you politely bring a mistake to their attention! They have the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. It's worth the extra couple of minutes to drive to McDonald's on Maxey just a few minutes away. Its the opposite of the Uvalde location. Their food is always hot and fresh, people are pleasant, the orders are right, and the wait...
Read moreWe pulled up to order and waited for at least 3 to 4 minutes before ever hearing from anyone while we were the only car in line. Someone finally came on the mic and we heard a girl giggling and background noise for a minute. Another car pulled up to the order line next to us and the giggling girl turned off the mic and proceeded to take the other cars order. I told my husband to pull around to the window so we could ask about us being able to order. (Maybe our box was broken, idk) As I was explaining what had happened, the girl cut me off and snapped at me, "What do you want?" I sat back and said my husband will give you the order since he's in the drivers seat. She sighed and got back on her mic and told the other people hold on as the whole time having an attitude with us and the other car. Then got back with us and said, "now, what do you want?" Snapping at us again with attitude. So I told her that we weren't going to be treated like that and we went to Whataburger on Wallisville, which, we were treated wonderful! The sad part is, I believe the person being irresponsible and disrespectful was the manager on duty at McDonald's. She wore a black striped shirt and type of neck tie, didn't get to catch her name. We've lived here for many years, grew up here. 90% of the time we are missing a food item we paid for or something along the line. It's never what we order. If I had the choice, 0 stars. I'm fed up. I'd rather drive...
Read moreI normally do not take the time to post reviews but tonight I am deeply disturbed.
For one I am a manager, and if I were to ever experience treatment like this in my restaurant, I would be extremely disturbed by not only this manager in particular but the supervisor who hired her.
I went to the mcdonalds at address 430 uvalde rd Houston, Tx and while I was waiting for my order which took no less than half an hour from order to drive off time, i witnessed a young man being treated terribly. The manager on duty was the worst person imaginable to be put in that position. When this young man would talk she would loudly repeat herself to where she was almost screaming over him. When he asked me if I had such and such in my order she came up screaming at not only him but me, mind you she hadn't gotten my order correct, he had. And finally when he went to hand me my drink she, with no decency I could see, calmly came up and told this gentleman not to expect a break or free food on his shift.
I sincerely hope this is not the type of behaviour you encourage at your stores and you will seek action in this matter. I will be in contact with as many bureaus or outlets I can find.
Racism shouldn't be tolerated, and no human being should treat anybody else in this way.
