Samburger Grill & Daiquiris to Go — Restaurant in Texas

The food is good but inconsistent. This place really depends on who is cooking that hour of the day. Some days, you'll get a great burger that is seasoned properly, and others you don't. That being said, when it's right, it's fantastic. For the most part, the prices are with the times, especially the chicken strips... $15 bucks for 3 of them, and the breading is falling apart? Yikes. The sad truth for a restaurant who's main attraction is the burgers, they make a pretty killer cheesesteak and a fantastic chilli dog, just be sure to ask for light chilli and cheese otherwise you will drown in it. But their most lacking item are their fries. Limp and somehow bitter? Definitely could use a revamp. If your fries are bad, as a fast food restaurant, then something needs a change. At least the food is fresh, or it should be with how long it takes to get one meal. If you're going here via drive thru and it's empty, you're going to spend at least 20 minutes after you order, not to mention the 5 is minute wait before you can even place it. Anyways, it's doubtful, but I hope this review lights a fire underneath whoever runs this place. Not a fan of this place, The food is a bit pricey, especially the wings but then again who gets wings at a burger joint? The gyros are an odd choice seeing as I can't think of why you'd have a Greek food item in a place that should really prioritize in burgers. The food was mediocre so pretty disappointed in that after paying the somewhat high price for it. Especially since i could've just went to McDonald's for more bang for my buck. I also noticed the lack of workers when I visited, I deeply feel such sympathy for the lack of workers there. There were I believe two workers there and both were great. I just hope whoever owns this place brings in more workers on each shift since coming from someone who used to work at McDonald's down the street I can only imagine the stress the workers here would get during rush hour but at least when i was at McDonald's we had more than enough employees helping out so it was manageable.

(EDIT to Owner's response) You're right, but do you think of burgers when you think of Buffalo Wild Wings? What do you want people to think of when people think of Samburger, Wings? Just cause other establishments do sell wings doesn't mean you should too, especially when other wing places have better deals and prices on...

Listen up, Houston, because Sam Burgers is serving up a masterclass in mouthwatering eats that’ll make your taste buds do a happy dance! I’m practically writing this with one hand while shoving their mango habanero wings in my face—those bad boys are a flavor explosion, sweet with just the right kick to remind you life’s worth living. Every wing flavor here is a banger, but that mango habanero? It’s the MVP, the prom king, the whole dang enchilada.

And don’t even get me started on their homestyle burgers. These beasts are so big they could star in a monster movie, and they’re so juicy and packed with flavor you’ll need a moment of silence to appreciate them. Everything’s made to order, so nothing’s sitting around getting sad under a heat lamp. Freshness is the name of the game, and Sam Burgers is winning.
