I’ve been to several Peruvian restaurants and have always had quick and quality service with exceptional dishes – reading these reviews, I was hopeful that Calletana’s would be the same. I hesitated to go inside after we noticed trash scattered across the front entrance. The greeting we received from the litter however seemed warmer than the service we experienced from the employee who was behind the counter when we first walked in. After asking if we could place our order, we waited for over ten minutes despite being the only people in line. When we finally decided to ask again, she stepped in the back room to grab another employee to help without ever once acknowledging us.

Starving, with the need for gains coursing though my empty guts, I wandered far and wide (about 20'); past smoothie joints and pointless nail salons until happening upon a Peruvian messiah of chicken and beef. Stumbling through the doorway in from a drunken stupor caused by my hypoglycemic state, an apt crew of employees met my bleak eyes, feeling the emptiness within. They promptly rendered aid by flame, spicy succulence, and beef.
I paid, then quickly made way to the window lit seating. I plunged my fork into this bowl of this golden juice to feel the right amount of burn and flavors I so sought for.
Content, I returned to the toddler shindig feeling alive and well, now able to handle toddler screeches and repeated accidental punches to the nut sack.
Thank you, you...
