Checkers Deli & Cafe — Restaurant in Chantilly

This is a borderline five star location. Almost hidden at its location, it is nevertheless easily reached from Centreville Rd and Willard Rd. This is a fairly typical Korean family deli, and has stood the test of time. A favorite of the local blue collar workforce, a testament to value of hearty meals available at a reasonable price. This is not across the board -- you have to look for this on their menu board. The rest of the menu, and it's fairly extensive, is more fairly priced. What I love about the place, is that it is fast food done well. The fruit cups are jammed full of fresh cut fruit. They have an amazing sausage gravy and toast dish that when available, is fresh, and easily the best anywhere around. Of course, there are the usual eggs how you want them, meat sides, home fries -- though I prefer the tater tots, usual spread of sandwiches and subs. The drinks in the cooler are restocked so frequently, I've never seen a close sell-by date. Having been going for years, we watched as they deftly adapted to the COVID era, limiting seating, before anyone else in the area, erecting shields, putting out hand sanitizer, and so on. And yet, through it, the ingredients are fresh, the food well prepared, and easy on the wallet. The only drawback, is unless one speaks Korean, calling on the phone is a lost cause - you just have to go there. The food and service make it worth the visit....

Great spot for breakfast and lunch! After one of my favorite deli's closed down, I had to look for a new one. Found out about Checkers Deli and Cafe through Yelp and I'm glad I did!

The Food: For lunch, I went with a classic cheesesteak and fries. The cheesesteak was delicious! The meat was quality and the cheese paired with it was delicious. The portions are great as well, it won't leave you hungry tat's for sure. The Their food options are very well priced out as well.

The Service: Staff were very friendly. They had our orders out fairly quickly even with a lunch rush. No complaints.

Overall, a 4/5! A great spot if you're looking for a good breakfast or lunch meal. I'll be back again,...
