Takeout Central Chapel Hill — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

So tonight, 4/18 we ordered from Chronic Tacos (CT). Our order was incorrect, After talking with one of CT employees, he apologized for the mess up and agreed to remake the food for Takeout central (TC) to redeliver. I called TC and 1st, the girl who answered was not happy at the fact i contacted Chronic tacos 1st. She then said someone would get our food to us ASAP. Less than 5 minutes passed and she called back and said CT is not answering the phones and they stopped taking orders from them. However.. THIS WAS NOT TRUE! i had just got off the phone with CT who again apologized for the missing food items but not TC! She was too busy being defensive! NOT THE RIGHT WAY TO GO! What you should have done was apologize for the problem and fix it! Because this is not the 1st time we have had ordering here, a review IS necessary. I hope no one has to deal with bad attitudes from anyone. This is nothing against Chronic Tacos. They need to check all orders for correct items though, but at least they know how to admit mistakes and be accountable for them unlike the representation tonight at Takeout Central. POOR POOR POOR...

We placed our order at 6:49pm and told it would from McAllisters Deli by 8:15 pm. Checked my e--mail at 8:12pm to check status of order and nothing other than our confirmation order and no call from anyone about a delay. Nothing from the driver about "arrival to site "or heading to you be sure your lights are on". This is when our order is supposed to be here in 3 minutes. Called Takeout Taxi number and told "driver is delayed". No explanation as it is a Tuesday evening:. Told our food would arrive in 10 minutes which it did not as driver called at 8:35 pm to say she was on her way:. This is close to 2 hours after our order was placed. At this point our kids are hungry and this level of service is unacceptable especially with the customers we had been. We were even told by the belligerent driver not to order from Takeout Central again. And we won't. Fortunately, many restaurants have there own services which we...

My husband and I love the selection of restaurants that this service offers, but we are beginning to feel discouraged because a lot of the delivery drivers get lost when they try to bring us our food, and by the time they do find us, the food is cold. We ordered tonight and the driver called, very confused as to where our apartment is located, and we explained to him how to find us, to no avail. Fifteen minutes later he called back and was still lost. So my husband had to walk outside in the freezing cold and track our food down. This is not the first time this has happened (it happens like eight out of every ten times we order) and it is unacceptable and we are seriously considering not ordering from Takeout Central because of these...
