Clean and what appeared to be newly remodeled. Their customer service, is typical among the youth working today. Where attention to the customer , and thoughtfulness is rare. The food was horrible. We ordered the funnel cake for the two of us, and both orders was so hard and dense we could not even eat them. In fear of breaking a tooth. The strawberry shortcake, had 3 strawberries and the rest was syrup. I had the banana split. Which would had been good, but it had two slivers of strawberry, 3 small 1/8 inch chunks of pineapple , (0) cherry , no nuts, way to much syrup chocolate/strawberry . Plenty soft serve. And of course one banana. The lil man is a vanilla milk shake expert. And if he don't like a vanilla milkshake. There is something terribly wrong with that picture. He didn't like it at all. So, I thought I'd taste it, and see why he didn't want it. And it was more of a Skim Milk shake, without the vanilla. I was extremely dissatisfied with the shake. When I called back the employee I spoke with was very rude and uncooperative, she said I would have to drive 30 minutes of my time , using my gas to pick the item up that day or I would just be losing the money I spent on that item. She also would not give me a phone number of the owner so I could make a complaint on this situation . Most restaurants that screw orders up will simply write your name down and let you pick that missing item up the next time you come back by their restaurant but not this one. This policy needs to be changed and their also needs to be someone you can speak with about issues like this. I had to ask someone that was driving by the Chapmanville Dairy Delight to stop by and pick this item up and when she went in and asked for it the employee went to the back, conversed with another employee there, then brought the bag up to her tossing it across the counter at her and sarcastically saying have a nice day. Read moreSince they've rebuilt after a fire a couple years ago, they have a really nice, new facility. Inside, it's utter chaos. Employees standing around seeming to do nothing while drive through and lobby customers wait indecently long times for simple orders. I can't detect that employees know what the processes are for delivering product. On this visit I saw a long drive through line, so I went inside to order two milkshakes. I was told, after I ordered, mind you, that they had no vanilla ice cream to make ice cream orders with. How absurd. I know things happen in the food business, I really do, but these guys have a long way to go to get to where they can handle the task of delivering their menu with even a modicum of efficiency.
