Drive thru line was insanely long, so decided to go in. Regretted that real quick.
First impression: The inside was so packed with people waiting for food, as well as people waiting to order. Overheard a few people say they waited for 45 minutes, and thought they were being dramatic. Nope. Waited that long for my food as well. It wasn’t until right before I got my food that the line became organized, so it was insanity to figure out what was going on, but that’s not necessarily the workers faults.
Further thoughts: The employees were all working very hard. It was almost impressive. With things being as crazy as they were, they definitely struggled to be organized, handle everything in order, and ESPECIALLY with communication. I could tell they were trying to do everything they could, and applaud them for it, but I don’t think anyone was prepared for this storm. The food was amazing, and I will definitely be coming back, but maybe not until the hype dies down.
I would rate 5 stars, because I enjoyed my visit very much, but there were things wrong that force me to rate lower. I ordered two 5-piece tender combos, but only got 3 tenders. I wasn’t going to drive back to fix it, and I’ll survive, so I’m not horribly bothered. The one thing that DID bother me, though, is the soda. I poured it myself, so I thought I was getting what I wanted: a Dr Pepper and a Coke. The Dr Pepper turned out to be Root Beer, and the Coke turned out to be Diet Coke. I have no idea how this happened, and there was no way that I read wrong. Very strange.
TL;DR Wait till the hype is over. Check your...
Read moreI just ordered food in the drive thru maybe 20 minutes ago. The kid mumbled in the speaker, it was hard to hear him. When I pulled up, he and another girl working were goofing off and she was on her phone. I drove about 5 minutes stopped and checked my meal, I ordered boneless they gave me bone in. So then I had to drive back. I still could barely understand what the kid said in the speaker when I drove up again, so I just pulled to the window. Both employees, who appeared to be teenagers, were laughing it up. I did receive boneless wings the second time, with a side of attitude, and the kid at the window literally asked for the bone in wings back like they could do anything with them. Take note: I don't care how good your food is at a restaurant, if your employees are subpar, act like children and do not do their jobs properly, it will come back to haunt the corporation. The owner. I hope my rating brings down the overall rating, because this is what this store and their employees deserve. Where is the adult in the store..? If you're going to hire teenagers or young adults, make sure they're mature...
Read moreOn Friday night 5/9/25 just before 10pm (the store doesn’t close until 11pm), I ordered a shrimp meal that was supposed to consist of 1/4 lb of popcorn shrimp, 2 chicken tenders, 2 sm sides (mashed potatoes/gravy and red beans and rice) a medium drink with a biscuit. My bill was nearly $18. The shrimp container was 95% of crunchy pieces, and I didn’t even get an equivalent of 3 shrimp, and the red beans and rice were not even a normal serving. I had to order at the pick up window, and within a minute or two, just long enough to pay for my meal a box was given to me. Which means Nothing was freshly cooked. In questioning the male at the window about my order he told me the restaurant was closing soon, so they couldn’t accommodate any of my requests due to their prep work. What? I have worked in the food service industry for years, and would have never served this to a customer. Regardless! But on a positive note I did reach out to a manager on the following Monday, and he asked for my name so he could put my name down to come in and receive...
