Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Charles Town

Dine in, Do not use Pick-Up here.. We did our first pick-up order tonight... Our fault for not checking our pizzas, but for 2 extra cheese pizzas how much can you mess up right? The photo attached is their idea of extra cheese... I mean where is the regular cheese? All sauce & dry.. ewww... Their employees are young and in a hurry, no one seems to really enjoy their job, they just need to remember they chose to work here, so why be annoyed with customers who order?? I won't order online again, 😕.. My son refused to eat the pizza.. Waste of time and money.. It takes little to no effort to put cheese on a pizza..... I gave 3 stars ONLY because the 2 female mangers (1 being Tonya) who work here, work their butts off and ALWAYS treat our family kindly... Otherwise I'd give them 1 Star.. Dining in the food is always better. I hate to give this type of review but I was really disappointed especially because I've been a customer for so long, I guess they assume throw it together, they're going to pick up and go home we won't have to remake it so let's...

The pizza is fair, I've tasted better. The price is a little steep. If you have a larger family, this isn't the place to go. 2 pizzas and 1 order of chessy bread sticks were almost $35. We tried to pay with a $25 gift card from Blaze given as a gift, paid for by a family member's employer. For some reason they didn't want to accept the gift card at first. They claimed it wasn't in their system, even with email confirmation, which we showed them. They tried to offer a 10% discount which would equal about $3. They had to call the manager on the phone, because I wouldn't accept that. While never acknowledging the validity of our gift card, the manager on the phone told the guy to just give it to us. While we appreciate the gesture the hastle of this place just isn't worth it. They do not take phone orders. I'd never tried Blaze before and didn't know what to expect, but the pizza was good! Not the most mind-blowing pizza in the world, but good for the price (we did the 2 for $22 online deal). We picked up the order curbside, and other than getting a busy signal the first couple times I called to let them know we were there, everything went great. The pizza was ready promptly, the employee who I spoke with was very courteous, and the order was accurate. The employee who brought out our pizza explained she had to put the pesto drizzle on the side because she forgot to add it to the pizza and they aren't allowed to reopen the box. I preferred having it on the side and will probably request that in the future.

Now that Arby's has just opened next door, I've noticed their drive-thru line curving around past Blaze's curbside pickup spot, so I'm not sure if that is making it any more difficult to...
