My wife was staying at the Marriott for a work function recently so I decided to tag along. We had breakfast at Saffire which was ultimately very disappointing not so much because of the food, more so the service. So we almost didn't go back to try dinner. But on the last night of the trip we were too tired to go anywhere, so we gave it a shot. I am so glad we did. It was very much unexpected. The server Theresa was so nice and she was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was very attentive and even though she was the only server there and very busy she never made us wait very long with our stopping by to check on us. She convinced me to try the Pork Chop and I was so pleased . The asparagus was cooked perfectly the red potatoes were delicious and the pork chop with the apple chutney on top was cooked to perfection. I wish I would have taken pics but I had left my phone in the room on the charger. My wife got the crab cakes and she was also equally pleased with her choices. Overall I give the experience a 9 out of 10 , only missing the 10 mark because it was a tad bit cold for the time of night it was. I had to go up to the room to get my wife's jacket...
Read moreI absolutely love this place. Whether you have a room at the hotel or walk-in you can either order a buffet or from the menu. I love the menu because you have such a nice variety and everything is fresh. The person who makes the omelets gives you a variety of ingredients to choose from and they're not overly fluffy they're well done and I'm not a person really for omelettes but at this hotel they're fantastic. I attended Sapphire on Monday Memorial Day and I asked if they did discounts for military. My waitress said they did not and I thought wow Memorial Day and they don't give discounts to vets okay. I asked to talk to the manager about this and the manager listen to what I had to say because I suggested they do military discounts Memorial Day and Veterans Day just to show their appreciation you know maybe just 10% but she listen to me. The manager took 20% off of my bill so that was very generous of her and she said she would pass along the idea. So anytime I want to go out and enjoy great food for only $16 which includes coffee and Juice I'm going to...
Read moreGem of a Restaurant which happens to be in a cool Marriot Hotel Location. My family of 4 decided to have bunch downtown on a late Saturday morning. Knowing that we'd be competing with the tourist and masses for a brunch spot on a busy SEWE weekend. However, we averted driving around in circles like tourist by heading to Saffire after an initial failed attempted for on the water breakfast.
HOW AWESOME of an experience did we have at Saffire? -No parking issues -Uncrowded & no wait on a busy weekend around 11am -Solid assortment on the buffet & custom Omelet cook for breakfast. All very tasty. -Staff treated our kids like they were the center of attention with custom hot coco drinks -My wife & I were impressed by the quality of produce(fresh strawberries & fruit) along with standard breakfast items -Waitress was caring & smiled
