I have a decent amount of patience and empathy for fast food workers because I myself have had to endure the stressful environment however, my most recent venture to Taco Bell was completely unacceptable. I arrived to the drive thru at around 10:25pm and waited a good 45 minutes before I was able to get to the order box. When I finally arrived to the order box I was harshly greeted by a gentlemen by the name of Lester and for another 15 minutes was completely disregarded by him. Eventually he came to the box to take my order and not even half way through the order lowley muttered “pissing me off”. He had a nasty attitude as I finished placing the order. I then proceeded to wait another 10-15 minutes in line to get my food from the window. I arrived to the window and Lester ignored me for about another 5 minutes. He slammed the window open and conversed with me in a nasty tone. When he handed off the first bag of food the nacho fries contained inside were cold and soggy. When Lester was informed that they were cold he told me that they were the last of them and they wouldn’t have more until the following day. The problem here is that I had 3 orders of the nacho fries and only received 1. The nacho fries for the second order were replaced with burritos without my knowledge. With the order being messed up to this degree I checked the quesadillas that I ordered specifically with no cheese. The person whom they were intended is allergic to cheese so it was imperative that they did not have any. Both of the quesadillas had cheese on them so I gathered all the food and politely asked Lester if he could remake the food and give me a refund for the fries. At this moment he slammed the window shut. I no longer wanted the food because his attitude was upsetting me so when he came back to the window I asked for a refund. The total for my order came to be a little over 36 dollars and he handed me 7 dollars and some change back only refunding me for the nachos fries. Right after handing me the money he handed me a bag with the quesadillas remade, I checked them and then drove back home too upset to sit there any longer. When I got home and gave my friend the quesadillas she was very upset because there was only one piece of chicken per piece of her quesadilla. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had to say the least. A quick trip to Taco Bell turned into an hour and forty five minute exchange! I understand that this job can be stressful and trying but never take it out on a customer, especially one with intentions of being kind...
Read moreIf I were able to give this particular Taco Bell zero stars, I would. First of all, they do not have nearly enough people working to properly service a lunch rush. Secondly, and it should have clued me to what I was in for, they had a pile of boxes sitting outside the rear door next to the drive through line, that looked to be food needing to be in a refrigerator and not 90 degree Charleston sun.
I sat in said line for over 25 minutes; and there were only 3 cars ahead of me!! This is fast food. Shouldn't take this long. Strike one
Once I finally get my food, I find out they didn't give me what I paid for. PLUS, the large drink I ordered was only 3/4 full..... where'd the remaining quarter go?? The foam at the top of the cup doesn't count! Strike two.
I pulled back into the parking lot to go inside; and proceeded to wait another 25 minutes before the Manager would talk to me. The ONE cashier kept trying to tell me that he was busy. Mind you, they did have a line out the door by this time, with still only the one cashier who couldn't take an order to save her life. Strike three.
Furthermore, I got the immense pleasure (pure sarcasm btw) to watch them screw up 3 other orders! Come on people, this is supposed to be fast food! Additionally, every time someone would order something with steak (i.e. quesadillas) the cashier would ring them up for steak, just to tell them all they had was chicken. The steak was probably in those boxes out back....
My suggestion: Don't waste your time at this Taco Bell/KFC location. Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. You'll be...
Read moreSo the first time through the drive through we ordered the number #6 meal which they got right. Also ordered the #2 which should’ve been soft shell supreme and it was wrong. Then finally to top it off I ordered the nacho fries deluxe box and it was horribly wrong. I ended up with 3 beef and bean burritos, 3 hard shell regular tacos, 3 regular soft shell tacos. Didn’t get but one item right in the nacho fries deluxe box. So I go back after looking at receipt and my wife goes in to get it corrected. When she gets in there she’s incendiary meet by the non professional lady that took the order and told my wife we didn’t order the deluxe box. Mind you I repeated the order back twice in the intercom which may have been easier to hear if all the employees cackling and carrying on in the background had been focused on getting the orders right.
It doesn’t stop there either. We get reimbursed the money owed and they give my wife the bag. My wife attempts to give the wrong food back and is told to keep it. My wife tells her there’s no way we can eat all of that which she replies to give it to the people on the streets. So now back in the van there’s surely no way they could get it wrong twice……lol joke is on me. I get the nacho fries, 3 soft shell tacos and 1 hard shell.
All I wanted and what came with the nacho fries deluxe box is an order of fries, five layer burrito, soft shell supreme taco and the steak...
