Food is incredible. Ambiance/service was great and seating was very comfortable. Tried the lobster bisque, lobster cakes, beef Wellington and tuna tataki. Everything was fantastic. The little salad bundles that came on the plate were a first for me and my wife and also delicious. Don’t mistake those as just decoration! Had a glass of the chocolate stout, which proved to be another tasty addition to the meal. We also experienced a desert called The Royal. This was, as with everything else, absolutely amazing. (Chocolate mousse paired with something I can’t describe, except that it was crunchy and delicious. Garnished with raspberries and whipped cream.) unfortunately I don’t have the culinary language to do it justice. We capped the evening by grabbing some macarons for the road (champagne and coconut Nutella) and some other pastries.

It’s clear that the owners worked extremely hard to put this experience together. We’re planning on making this place a regular stop during our trips downtown. After all, there’s a lot more to experience! PS: my wife included pics on her Yelp review PPS: you can park at Publix next door for 2 hours...

Our first visit to Saveurs du monde on Westedge turned into such an awesome experience! Mainly, because of Elea, who was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Her recommendations were so on point! And her french origins and childhood memories led us to a lively conversation! She took care of us in the best way possible and made our visit unforgettable. Needless to say, the food is fantastic! Croissants and desserts look and taste stunning. I tried the “Royal” and should say it is out of this world. Amazing combination of flavors and textures! My boyfriend got the “Opera” cake and it was yummy, too. For the actual food we got the salad “La Provencale” and the panini “Le Caprese di Parma”. The portions were big, everything was fresh and flavorful and we truly enjoyed our main course before the desserts. Also the interior of the place is very elegant and refined. Besides enjoying the food, you enjoy the atmosphere. I was very impressed by the chandeliers in the dining area. I’m very glad that now we have a new favorite place to visit and I’ll definitely recommend it to...

We were really excited to try this cafe this morning but we’re very disappointed in the coffee and food we ordered. My wife ordered a quiche (tasted chewy, looked like it was microwaved to thaw it out). It seemed like it was frozen. She also ordered an Iced Americano but it was like Starbucks. Very disappointed in that.

I ordered the banana and berries French toast (bread didn’t take that great, bananas were brown, and it was lukewarm). I overheard the chef telling the barista to not order any more French toast due to not having egg wash. Hopefully that didn’t affect it. I was really hoping for brioche but not sure what type of bread was used.

The mocha isn’t really thing to write about since it didn’t taste great. Espresso tasted burnt and wasn’t very hot.

The pothos plants that were hanging down are very infected and all of the have scale. I have attached a picture to show. Very disappointed with the food and the environment. Was really hoping this would become a usual place we eat at. Wish we had pics of the...

Above average food, with laughable value. I ordered a Le London Style, which is just a baguette, Parmesan cheese and arugula with roast beef which cost $14.95, $16.50 with tax (photo attached). I have always enjoyed their food, but the pricing has become absurd even with inflation rates as high as they are. The amount of meat that comes on the sandwich for the price is laughable at best (two slices of roast beef). We are in Charleston, not JFK airport. I'm used to fronting the cost for the $16 or $17 sandwiches in JFK airport or at a high end deli in NY where the sandwiches are thick with plentiful meat. I'm all for supporting local small business but at what expense. They should seriously rethink their pricing as no sane person will become a repeat customer with pricing like this. Maybe add sides or something to make it worth the $. I don't recommend going here if you are price conscious or just don't want to pay $16.50 for a slice of roast beef on bread.
