Let me start by saying I have never giving a bad rating before, but on this occasion it’s justified. First off, I waited to order for about 15 minutes. No problem it happens right? Waited another 10 to get my food... so I get to the window then she gives me the wrong order. I asked if this was correct she got all mouthy and told me that wasn’t what I ordered. I explained again, ma’am I ordered something completely different she then decided to call me a liar and then closed the window and walked away. Another lady came to the window to refund my money then charge me for what I actually ordered while the other employee was running her mouth in the background like she was throwing a 2 year old temper tantrum. The second lady was extremely polite but I did inform her that her coworker had horrible customer service. She apologized and then went off to grab my order. Another 5 minutes later I received my correct order. I am beyond disappointed with this location. Tudors is known for good food and good service. NO ONE WANTS TO WAIT 30 MINUTES FOR THEIR ORDER AND BE CALLED A LIAR! As much as I love Tudors I will not go back to this location. After I got home with my order I threw it away because after all of that I didn’t feel like eating. I have been in customer service for over 20 years. I am always extremely understanding with waiting but being in management I know that employees like the First Lady is toxic and will ruin your business. At no point is it acceptable to roll your eyes at a customer and call them a liar. I think we know what we order and just because you didn’t understand correctly or because you’re busy you don’t have the right to speak down to people. Management really needs to review the wait times as well as their people working the windows to ensure they are not treating customers poorly. The ONLY reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the second lady that corrected her employee’s mistake was very sweet and apologetic but unfortunately it only takes one to ruin your...

this is hands-down, bar-none, beyond a shadow of a doubt, THE best place to eat. anytime I've had someone ask me that famous question... "where do you want to go eat?", i answer, "tudor's". or if someone informs me they've never tried it, I insist they do and that they take me with them.
people joke about tudor's being the mainstay restaurants where old men go to eat. well, let me tell you why that is. because these old guys have been around long enough to try every other restaurant and realize that none of them can hold a candle to tudor's.
years ago, I worked in a convenience station with a taco bell inside, but a tudor's across the street. I was told during my training that I'd be offered discounts at taco bell and I told them then, that if I was going to eat out, I'd be going to the tudor's across the street. I ate there quite a bit during the time I worked that job, but never tired of it.
tudor's menu is impressively deep for such a small restaurant. I love that you can go there for a hot dog and onion rings or a bowl of pinto beans with a fried bologna sandwich. and their breakfast choices are top-notch.
people around the Charleston area will tell ya, "I like suzie's breakfast biscuits", and if I'm honest, they're not blowin' smoke, suzie's biscuits are stiff competition. but, there are more tudor's restaurants (I only know of one suzie's), tudor's serves breakfast from open to close (unlike suzie's) and some tudor's restaurants are open as late as 7pm (nitro tudor's is 24/7), where I'm thinking suzie's closes at like 2pm or something close to that.
one would just be hard-pressed to convince me that I'd enjoy eating anywhere else as much as I enjoy eating tudor's. if you haven't already, try it for yourself and see if I know what I'm...
Read moreWe keep seeing Tudor's Biscuit World around so decided to try since we love biscuit and gravy!
Food/Taste/Flavor: 3/5 - didn't see dinner options so we ordered a Ron Biscuit (sausage, egg, and cheese) and a Super Breakfast Platter with bacon, two over easy eggs, fried potatoes, fried apples, biscuit, and gravy. The biscuit sandwich was decent overall but on the drier side. The fried potatoes were a bit soggy and the apples were too sweet. It's very obvious that the biscuit is quite dry when it's by itself. The gravy does help it along but it's so salty. Definitely need a drink with all the salty food.
Service: 5/5 - friendly and very quick service!
Ambiance: n/a - ordered food to go. Not much decorations and while the location feels a bit worn, it's clean overall.
Value for price: 3/5 - reasonable price but the food...
