Ordered a pizza for delivery at 6:50pm. They told me it would be 45 minutes to an hour. They forgot to ask me how to pay but I had some cash so no big deal. The house is a little over 1.5 miles away. I could have driven but with little ones you just want something simple after a day at the beach. This was not the solution. When I called back a little over an hour later they said it left for delivery 15 minutes prior. So I waited 15 more minutes. Called again. "We do many deliveries but it is on the way. It is in a hot bag so it stays fresh." I remind her that it is 1.6 miles away and that it doesn't take nearly 40 minutes to go that far. I offered to pick it up but it was out for delivery. At an hour and a half I spoke to Matt who identified himself as the manager. He said that they are unclear why it is taking so long but it should be there any moment. My wife called Charlestown Famous Pizza who delivered while I was on the phone with Kingston Pizza. Moral of the story...my wife took care of the family while I spun my wheels. If you are renting a house near Charlestown Beach do not buy from these guys they will waste your time. They also don't understand that when you put someone on hold you shouldn't be able to hear them take other orders including credit card info.
