McDonald's — Restaurant in Charlevoix

Friendly, but no toilet paper in the Ladies 'room stall. We told management. They stuck the whole huge replcement wheel on the babie's changing table in the stall, rather than taking the time to 'put it in the dispenser, and it was later in the evening when it was not busy at all... Just done out of laziness. We came in the next morning for breakfast, and it was still there. The following day we came in, and there was water someone had obviously spilled in the entran's way and lobby. But, it took two different customer complaints and worries of falls before it was poorly mopped up, and no pilon or sign was set up to indicate the floor was wet even then. One morning It took three attempts to get an egg An egg mcmuffin. The man just quickly grabbed whatever was laying there when it was wrong, making the situation worse when we had to go back again with a sausage mcmuffin. Our order was wrong twice. Another evening while ratting in the lobby, we were given cold food. I took it back up and told the man that was the manager it was cold. He just chuckled, and put it in the microwave. I think we will have to switch the the a Burger King in town, even though we prefer McDonald's. This one doesn"t even seem to be...

Good McDonald's! One needs to take into account the fact that the restaurant is a McDonald's when reviewing a McDonald's. So this rating is RELATIVE to all other McDonald's restaurants within the Midwestern United States of America and the select few other McDonald's locations which I have visited (mainly in the southern United States Of America on several road trips to really cool locations. But that's neither here nor there so to speak). The soda fountains are really good and the people are really nice. They keep it quiet clean. The only bad part is that sometimes when you order at the kiosk they kinda take it personally and you have to feel a little bad. But I don't think that it affects the quality of the food. But maybe some more research could go into that. Either way, it's a 5 five star McDonald's. At the risk of outting myself for being naughty and eating fast food, I feel obliged to give this establishment 5 stars for outstanding customer service, akin to a non fast food restaurant. Visiting Charlevoix on business in October, all of the local restaurants downtown were closed- some due to staffing shortages- we ended up at McDonalds with a surprisingly great experience. We sat at a table that appeared clean, but a staff member quickly jumped over to sanitize our table AND dried it. Instead of calling our order number and retrieving food at the counter, a staff member brought our food to our table (with a number card to associate our order with our table), AND asked if we needed anything else. THEN, the manager stopped over to recheck on us, above and beyond. The dining room was clean, and the views pretty darn pleasant. Kudos to the staff members,...
