Catch 21 — Restaurant in Charlotte

DASHER REVIEW: The one thing about this place that makes it a go-to are the prices. The prices are very affordable.

The service is on the bad side though. As I'm sitting here, there is a pregnant woman here that has a mistake with their order that she's trying to correct. Her and the owner are going back and forth, and as I'm eavesdropping on the convo, she's right. She placed her order over the phone and the owner misunderstood her request. She's asking if she can get the order fixed and she's willing to pay, but he seems to not want to do it. Instead she's just gonna have to get what the owner said she ordered. To his defense, he's right because he made what she asked for and she admitted that she did, but made a mistake.

I don't know....I'm on both sides here..but to run a small business like this I would do all I could to satisfy my customers even if they were in the wrong. I need that business lol. But I suggest you give then a try though. After all, he did apologize to the other person that was with her.

Ordered a bunch of seafood, most of it fried, and I'm having to go "garbage disposal" mode and eat what I can rather than all the wasted cost.

First, the styrofoam containers were completely melted through and stuck together. I honestly thought the popcorn shrimp was popcorn chicken until we pulled one apart. Very overcooked. The flounder looked good on the outside, but was very dry. The calamari was a combination of worst of both. The only "fishy" flavor was that of old oil.

Only things that were "ok" was the somewhat dry hushpuppies and the fries if they weren't soggy. I should've stuck with Nick's nextdoor, got Captain D's or spent extra to get Skyview22. They should lower the large portion sizes and menu, and refocus on making some things right. (Or at least not this wrong)

I can't help but wonder if it's the same folks making food as the equally terrible "curry" place in the...

I was just at this place this past Monday to pick up food ordered over the phone..so I called and said "let me get the seafood boil u have for around $45 $50"...the order was for my homie I was picking up at the airport so catch 21 was on my route..i get there the price $60 I'm like okkk 🤔🤔🤔 thought i said around 45 50??...whatever tho..so I take it to my homie he opens the bag the food wasn't seasoned & it had no mussels or sausage...just shrimp with the peel on it that was so difficult to take off..2 corn on the cobb..a small lobster tail & small baby crabs..

I called them back and asked is this all u get for $60??the food wasn't seasoned the price was too high..never again will I go here..i just went to a seafood boil on Saturday and had amazing food..this hole in the wall...
