DASHER REVIEW: I hate doing this. Gawd I hate doing this as Chick-fil-A franchises are one of my favorites.
This is your typical Chick-fil-A. Nothing special. So if you visit here you pretty much know the menu items so nothing really to talk about there.
Upon arriving at this particular location I did parking to be a real nuisance. It closely...and I mean CLOSELY...shares the parking lot with a Food Lion grocery store. And if you go to Chick-fil-A then you already know that the drive-thru lines already be wrapped around the building a few times. So let's just say thing were a bit crowded.
Now, as a doordash driver, it hurt my soul to walk in and see about seven doordash drivers standing there waiting for in order to be given to them. There was someone there helping to give out the orders but she was tasked with other things as well. There were visually about 10 to 12 years behind the counter but they all seem to be moving fairly slow. This is not typical behavior of a Chick-fil-A employee.
Don't worry about four or five orders in the pick up window but the girl who was handing them out kept walking away and they have a glass protecting them so you can't just grab them and go on about your Merry way.
I was sitting there waiting for them to come up and read the orders thinking my order was not be prepared due to the other drivers there before me still waiting for their order. Here's why this is important. As I'm waiting for my orders to be made I had it in my mind that I would be waiting for some time. But what really happened was that there was no one there to read the orders out and my order was sitting there waiting for me and no one was there to give it to me. In other words I ended up waiting for no reason.
So I'm not sure if this was a one-off thing but the employees were all moving slow and this is not typical for your average Chick-fil-A so I was quite a bit let down.
All in all, I still recommend any Chick-fil-A restaurant for you some chicken and some fries

Read moreI have been to this Chick-fil-A four or five times since it opened about four months ago, and the experience has improved each time! They have a mostly brand new staff that is still learning, but the extremely negative tone of the reviews shared here does not match the quality of experiences I’ve had - The food was delicious, the staff was professional and attentive, the service was excellent and the store was clean!
As a former employee, I know Chick-fil-A has set the customer service bar high for its customers, and with this being a new location they certainly have room to grow in speed, accuracy and efficiency. However, to go a step further and demonize the community surrounding the store (as many reviews have done) is too far.
As you all know, Chick-fil-A traditionally operates stores in more affluent/middle class communities, and this particular store is located right on the boundary line between a high poverty neighborhood and a very affluent neighborhood in Charlotte. I can’t help but think this unique reality unfairly contributes to people’s perception of the store and its employees if the quality of service isn’t at the high standard they expect it to be.
In addition to providing great food and good service to customers, this store also provides over a hundred people with stable, high quality employment within walking distance of their homes. I’m not sure how many employees live in the community surrounding the store, but having employment options walkable to lower income residents is super rare in car-dependent cities like Charlotte, and it’s worth being excited about!
So don’t let these reviews keep you from giving this location a shot. Cut them some slack and give them some time to train their employees and develop them. And if the drive through line is long, park and walk in - 9 out of 10 times it’s faster anyway.
Thanks for reading - I’ll...
Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!! COTSWOLD IS NOW OPEN!!!! This has got to be the worst Chick-fil-A I have been to in my entire life. I will not be going back. I share the same sentiments as the other reviewers. The food is horrible always cold and/or overcooked and out of items. I’ve never been to a Chick-fil-A that was ever out of any food. The staff is very nice, however, everytime I go it’s more talking and congregating and less working which is why takes so long to get your food NOT bc they’re busy, TRUST!! Which is unheard of for Chick-fil-A but I digress. I literally just left this location and called to make a complaint with the alleged manager of this location as well as corporate. This is my fourth visit, however I’ll just start off by telling you my latest complaint. I placed a mobile order for nuggets I get there one person in the drive-through line so that tells you all you need to know right there but I digress I get to the window. They tell me to pull up to wait for my nuggets. I wait 10 minutes-ok fine. The young lady who was extremely nice brings them to me and I told her to please wait so I could check my food because the other 3X were issues. Checked my food after waiting 10 minutes and my food was lukewarm at best. I asked, was there a reason why I was waiting so long to receive almost cold food. She apologized & took it back in about two minutes later brought me another bag. It had to have been the same food. I touched it and it was still lukewarm. I just went home. The one @ Cotswold needs to reopen bc this location is for the...
