I typically go to the Northlake location but was passing by at night and decided to stop. Went through drive thru on Saturday night around 10pm. Drive thru took Forever. Ordered number 1, large fry, and added an additional large fry. Finally got my order after about 20-30 mins. As I was driving home, I noticed that my fries were warm but greasy, and they tasted like they had been redipped in grease. Well, I figured it would've taken forever just to replace and with me being in line that long to begin with, my order should have been fresh out the grease. So, I get home and examined my fries further and they were old, super greasy, and already cold. Sandwich was decent and lemonade okay. Very disappointing and upsetting because that is not the Chick fil a experience I know (from any location, ever). My food is Always fresh and customer service is Always superb. Well, not this time.
Since the next day was Sunday, I waited until Monday to go back and talk with manager. I didn't call, I figured I'd just stop by. I park, go inside and asked for manager, (Seth I'm guessing, he never introduced himself) he comes out from the back, and I explain to him what occurred. He never once apologized for the unacceptable food or service, or the inconvenience of me having to come back to the restaurant. He didn't provide any solutions to the situation, and basically said a few times, "So what do you want?" I had already stated one fresh fry and a refund on the other. It felt like I was inconveniencing him because he asked what I wanted again and said something along the lines of did I want a credit for the fries and come back in a week or something. Huh? Any effective and well trained manager would have remade my 2 fries (or whole order for that matter), and refunded me for both, and Apologized for the service. I ended up saying just give me one fry because I wasn't going to eat 2 at the moment, and he clearly didn't want to refund me. He then proceeds to say did I want something else. I wasn't sure if he was offering an item for the inconvenience or not so I said, "Yeah a cone I guess." He says, "Well you would have to pay for that" and asked if I wanted anything else to Purchase. Really? Again, never apologized and went over to a group of crew members and acted as if he was helping with orders. He didn't say anything else, and he wasn't the one who handed me the fries. What a complete shame. A girl did, I thanked her, and I couldn't get out quick enough.
This was by far the worst Chik fil A experience I've ever encountered..I can't believe the customer service was that atrocious, definitely not the high standard Chik fil is known for. Management could definitely use more training in customer service and communication skills. I will not be returning to this...

Mobile Thru is NOT faster! So I have not updated my review in the last couple years but originally it was a five star that I've had to change to a 2 star given my last three experiences here. Ever since they added the mobile through option you are better off picking your order up at the pick up location inside or going through the regular drive-through Every time I've gone through mobile thru it has taken me significantly longer and all I order is a drink and it is unacceptable to be sitting there and have five or six other cars get served behind you and right next to you when this is supposed to be the option that is quickest. Plus I have an uncomplicated drink that I now have to wait 10 minutes sometimes to even get this last time I had to actually call over to somebody to ask about my drink that had been sitting there. Unacceptable. And the friendliness and the overall demeanor of the staff has gone from your typical Chick-fil-A pleasant and friendly to what appears to be dread and I don't understand why the change,
I have used this new feature at several other locations with no problem over the last month
update: Decided to give them another go with some time passing only to be the most disappointed. What was once a 5 star is now a 1 star for service. Tried mobile thru again, which again compared to many other Chik Fil As even out of state, this is by far the SLOWEST mobile thru service being the only store to not improve the experience of this newly rolled out option. I literally waited in the line this time 14 minutes (order placed 15 min PRIOR), every single person who was behind me in both lines all cleared out. I had to wave someone down for my order. They literally had it sitting out and had been forgotten. I'm so disgusted because I expect better from chik fil a and even though this location is the most conveniently located one for me, I would rather drive 20 min out of the way for better service and treatment. The funny part - after mobile thru orders are placed this location charges you IMMEDIATELY after order placed whereas none of the others have put the charge through until I scan the QR code. This location needs to get on board with what the purpose of what this intended service is for as it's advertised. By the way. I only order one item every time to this is inexcusable. Most of the time I'm waiting forever on just a drink. Your best bet as I've mentioned before is to place a carry out order 15-20min in advance and then choose the option that says you are already there so they make it and it's waiting for you - otherwise be prepared for a...
Read moreI usually go to this Chick Fil A because my children and family loves it, but unfortunately, we had a horrible experience that deemed necessary for me to state. Again, I usually have great service at this location, but I am unsure of what happened this go around. My nieces and I were at the location and the cashier there (who was probably new so we gave her the benefit of the doubt) swiped my nieces credit card for her food, but she also gave the cashier cash. My niece asked if she can pay cash first, and the swiped the card for the rest in which I do that a lot. The cashier took the cash and swiped my card. My niece had a funny feeling about the transaction, so she looked up her account through her app and saw that the cashier had swiped for the whole thing. So I processed as a transaction with the bank, but my niece account was negative. The cashier still took my niece money. When we realized it, the cashier said she wasn't giving our money back and refused for us to speak to the manager on duty. So as an aunt defending my niece, I politely went into the store and spoke to the manager. The manager on duty stated that the cashier did nothing wrong and we even called my niece bank about the transaction in which the franchise owner was there and still did not take any credit for the wrong. We did not get the food and they took our money. Now I thought Chick fil A is supposed to be a Christian friendly food restaurant, but stealing is against one of the commandments? So I have Shannon Holland as the operator of this franchise and unfortunately, I am posting this to every site I know as this was not right at all. $15 may not be a lot to you Shannon Holland, but to college (straight A African American females who attend a prestigious school in Charlotte) it is especially when they are doing all they can to make it in this world. This was a treat to me for them to pay for my food (even though I offered) because they wanted to do something nice for their aunt who does for them. I am hurt and heart broken that this had to happen, but all things happen for a reason and to honestly find out how this franchise operates, is unheard of and...
