I had the habachi steak and shrimp with fried rice, which comes with a miso soup. My son had shrimp fried rice, beef with broccoli, and a wonton soup. The miso soup was pretty good. The hibachi steak and shrimp were too salty but had a nice flavor, and it didn't have enough steak or shrimp. The fried rice didn't have any onions, or egg, or bean sprouts. My son said his food was ok except for not enough beef or shrimp. I like their hard noodles that came with my son's wonton soup. The service was great, but I had to give 4 stars because with some things, the waiter did not understand some of the things we were asking without saying different words. Example: asking for tea with no sugar, you have to ask for unsweetened, instead of tea with no sugar. He did understand no ice. The men's bathroom was clean and well stocked. 6/8/24 This time, I ordered carryout. I ordered house egg-foo-young with fried rice and spare ribs. You get 4 patties and brown gravy. The patties were good but fried a little too hard on the edges. I could also do without the peas and carrots. The gravy was good but too salty, so you do not need to add soy sauce. The fried rice only has egg in it. So when I got home, I fried up onions and added it to the fried rice, which made it so much better. The ribs were good but a little hard on some of the edges. On my next visit, I will try the wings and lo-mein. 1/24/2025 The ribs were ok. One of the ribs was way too short to be considered a rib. They should have given me another rib. The wings were ok, my son didn't like them. He said the wonton soup was just ok. My son was not satisfied with the taste of what we ordered. The men's bathroom was ok and stocked. In the men's bathroom, be careful with the hot water because it is really hot as soon as you turn it on, make sure the handle is in the middle.

During my most recent outing for groceries, I stopped bye this hidden gem for a takeout order. Even though the entire restaurant was literally separated from the front lobby with dividers and thick mil plastic sheeting. I was still extremely impressed with both the quantity and quality of food that was being served. A friend had recommended this restaurant to me just because of these aforementioned reasons. I didn't have an opportunity to take pictures of the food until I arrived home. Let's just say that I was extremely pleased with the exceptional quality of the food that I had purchased. I ordered 2 servings of Fried chicken wings and 1 order of BBQ spare ribs. As you can see in the pictures, there's enough food for 3 people(with normal appetites). The fried chicken wings had a thin, crusty crunch and texture. The BBQ spare ribs had a nice quantity of meat on them and a sweet and smokey flavor. Everything was prepared whenever you ordered. There was outdoor seating available next door in a common courtyard that had benches that were spaced an appropriate distance apart. Enjoy and treat yourself at the same time. You won't be disappointed. If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.

My wife and I today came to the Golden Taipei their Sunday brunch food was cold. The rice and the noodles were starchy tasting the fried chicken items were good the eggrolls were nice. Almost all of the dishes here are deep-fried everything tasted a little greasy to me. My wife told me that she found some POOPIE IN HER SHRIMP! 💩💩💩. My wife ordered a coke, the soft drinks here were little on the strong side the place is clean even the bathrooms are clean,(surprisingly). This afternoon I lowered my review because of the POOPIE IN THE SHRIMP,and the fact that I am feeling a little sick to my stomach. I would give them a higher rating if they would clean their shrimp and had more fresh foods and less deep fried items on their menu. Their rice and noodles taste like they were made a week ahead of time! How can an Asian restaurant screw up noodles and rice? UPDATE: I see that their business is going down the tubes, they are sending out coupons for the first time ever. MAYBE OTHER PEOPLE DON’T LIKE EATING POOPIE SHRIMP! 💩💩💩.

Brought a friend out tonight 1/5/19 for some sushi. We had planned to go to PF Changs, but they were backed up 2 hours and we were super hungry. We got here and got seated immediately. That was nice. The guy taking our order couldn't speak English and was RIDICULOUSLY rude!! Rude enough for me to make this review. Told him we wanted sushi first and then we would order food afterwards. So he got our sushi order then stormed away. He came back 15 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order. I asked where the sushi was. 10 minutes later he brings out 2 of the 3 orders of sushi. I asked where my other order was and he blatantly ignored me. He came back to finally fill our drinks and forgot the sushi still. I asked where the sushi was again, and he went and finally got it. He came around the table several times and I tried to get his attention to order food for my friends child. Finally got his attention and ordered a few more orders of sushi too. When I ordered this food, the waiter straight up said, "This is the last time I'll take your order. I'm way too busy for this." Something to that affect as he could barely speak English. After a good 20 minutes, we got the child's plate of food and the sushi. All in all, the food was pretty good, I can't lie. All the sushi was good and the chicken fingers were good too. I've never been treated like trash in a restaurant before but tonight, tonight I felt like this restaurant didn't care about anything. The cooks did their job. But the server that we had the experience with, makes me never want to...

I came in around 2pm for some lunch on a Thursday, the place was quite empty, after being seated and the waitress came over she noticed (i obviously didnt ) that the table wasn't fully cleaned, so she cleaned it up and took my order,

You can tell the establishment has been around for a while (at least I hope ) due to the small chips in some of the plates, I ordered a simple general tso with fried rice, the complimentary fried noodles were okay, you could tell they were re fried in more then likely older oil,

When the food came out the food was hot but the plate was room temp (I always find that a pulse cuz I know they didnt throw it into a microwave or stuck it all in the oven) the flavors were... okay, nothing to right home about but not bad either, I did hit a few chickens pieces that had the distinctive taste of freezer burn, but nothing that would ruin a meal (in my opinion ) the fried rice was not bad either, you could tell from the condition of the pork inside of it that it was probably made earlier in the day. The eggroll was really good, definitely would have again

As I finished my meal I find that there is one piece of chicken left and a little bit of rice left, I find I'm full but not completely satisfied, but for the price of $9.31 for a good amount of food and a...
