Cook Out — Restaurant in Charlotte

Terrible experience at Sugar Creek location at 130am. I tried to order a HUGE w/bacon cheese &mayo. After repeating myself 3 times and the guy at register still called back a BIG DOUBLE, I continued with my order. Secondly I ordered a Chicken Tray with fries and corn dog. My sandwich was a bacon sandwich with a dry grilled chicken nugget, literally. Oh yeah, I ordered 2 bacon wraps. Yes I was hungry and I thought I was fulfilling my appetite. That's not it. During receiving my food process the bacon wraps arrived first, then the chicken tray as I did not receive my burger. After having some polite words with the manager and giving him my receipt for proof he did not give me my "wrong burger" he investigated by asking others had they seen or made this particular burger. I'm sure that the guy that took my order, who was clearly not on our planet at the time gave away my food to his friend. Finally I got my burger after being made to feel like I stole it. I admit, I normally have great food and great service but this was not the time. I felt cheated out of my money and belittled by the employees. Yours truly, "a...

This is easily the worst Cookout that I have ever been to. And as a native North Carolinian that is saying a lot.

Orders are rarely correct and when you try to get your order corrected the staff try to gaslight you into saying that the clearly wrong food is what you ordered.

There are regularly missing items from your order and the items that do make it in are sparing in quantity (4 small onion rings as a side for a tray???), are made with the illusion of compliance (putting a smidge of lettuce and a sliver of bacon at the top of a wrap so you don’t realize there’s nothing in the tortilla until you’re home, eating it, and bite straight into nothing but tortilla), or are missing parts of an item (a big double burger with cheese somehow equals a crispy and burnt kids size burger patty in a bun far too large with no cheese and pickles layered so thick they were thicker than the single beef patty).

They also are consistently out of many items, most recently all sauces except buffalo and no Cheerwine.

If you do decide to eat at this specific location, be prepared for your order to resemble more of a suggestion...

I came to cook out on sugar Creek through the drive Thur ordered my food pulled up to check my bag only to find out I didn't get nuggets on one tray and ex nuggets on the other tray went to the window talk a gentleman his was very nice about he took the tray to another guy who so rude he throw my nuggets on my tray and pushed them back to the guys so I ask to speak to the manager he was older black guy looking all scared didn't apologize and sat ma'am where really busy it won't happen again so the guy is behind him laughing cause I'm telling this man bout him no once did he correct him or take care of the problem I'll never done that cook out again I'll drive to the east side next time and o stay in the neighborhood near sugar Creek night shift at cook out are rude people who should be in in this type work force if they can't conduct there self he needs to be fired I'm a manager at fast food place and wouldn't dare tolerate my employer acting like that...
