Ichiban Buffet Sushi & Hibachi — Restaurant in Charlotte

Worst food in my entire life. I came here because someone recommended this place because they like it. I have been to many buffets and makes sense why I came in and nobody was there. I only liked coconut shrimps. The bread was burnt and hard like a stale cookie. The food there was overcooked or poorly prepared, even the hibachi, some of the noodles lowkey were crunchy, and the meat were either too chewy or taste like a meat I never tried, but nasty after taste. I been to many Asian food places and this place is not it. You may be like “well it’s a buffet, you can’t expect the best of it” no, I know it’s not like a nice cafe/bakery or restaurant. The fact is I been to multiple buffets with hibachi that were 100 times better than this place. And I love buffets with hibachi and I usually would clear easily 3 plates licked clean. this place o could barely eat but I ate because I spent money. I should left as soon I tasted one the bread and said I’m not paying. Not only that, I would have server 5 stars but one Asian skinny dude gave my friend bunch of pitachichos and ran to his friends and laughed about it , no offense, if they cooked the food and thought it was delicious than I feel bad for their future wife’s, she will never be...

I used to enjoy this place but it seems like they have went down hill... First thing was when we walked through the door.... It was so hot inside my head was sweating I had to keep wiping my head with a napkin...when I mentioned to one of the workers that it was really hot in there he just looked at me and said yes... The food was subpar...anything that had a sauce or gravy was watered down...down to the mac and cheese... And I mean everything...the food was lacking flavor and the ice cream sandwiches were so Frozen you couldn't even bite into them... it had ice crystals on them... when we attempted to let it thaw a bit on the table the ice cream didn't even look like ice cream no more... It looked more like a gelatin... There was also flies flying around the buffet... After eating I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and use the restroom I couldn't even do that because the smell was so atrocious I will not be going back to this place... And for the product that you were getting the lunch buffet was very overpriced.. I do not recommend...

I don't even know where to start but I just wish I would've taken a look around before being seated. It was around 4pm and most of the food was dried up like no one was tending to it or switching anything out...there where a lot of strange tastes like everything is being cooked in dirty mop water. I just got home and when I say everything came right back up I mean it. I am so sick and I wish I would not have spent my money here. $18 per person no drink is crazy for the food to be that gross...lo mein was the only decent thing on my plate I tasted a lot of different things and it was a no for me overcooked shrimp, crab, chicken, and the fried chicken bland and so was the carw fish tasted like dirt. All servers sitting down on there phones I asked for a water and there was something floating in it, not to mention it's dusty and a bit smelly the list goes on just don't go here you've...
