Joe Momma's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Charlotte

Let me just preface this by saying, my household USED to order from this resturant 2 or 3 times a week. We spent $80 to $120 WEEKLY! We ordered 2 cheese calzones with red sauce. 4 ranch on the side, as well. We also ordered a large chicken philly with cheese fries. I had the lady repeat the order back to me SEVERAL TIMES. All was great until we received the food, opened the boxes and found no red sauce. When I called the store a "customer service" rep (lady) answered. I explained the issue and was told only "you say no red sauce!". When i corrected her, all I got was the same response. I disconnected the call and dialed back (pissed about being called a lair. Not about the mediocre sauce). Zil (claimed he was the owner) answered the phone. I explained the issue and he said he knew what happened from the worker. He would be happy to send out 2 red sauce. I was unable to eat EITHER of the Calzones. He refused to remake or refund the money. Just send out 2 freaking red sauces. After going back and forth, I find out that the delivery driver has left for the night so there was no way to get the sauces to my location (lie).

On the plus side - their food makes WONDERFUL DOG FOOD! THEY HAVE LOST BUSINESS AND CUSTOMERS FOR BEING RUDE/NOT ADMITING A TINY MISTAKE/NOR TAKING STEPS TO CORRECT THE MISTAKE.👋

Wow, my experience at joe mama's pizza and grill was absolutely fantastic. I had just eaten at the place in early July under a different name and it did not deliver like Joe's mama. I actually did not order pizza but instead ordered the grill. I was surprised when I was told I could not order the grill, so I settled for a pizza. The pizza was good. The menus were of absolute best quality. The laminate was especially exquisite and I was delighted with every turn of each page. The overall feel of the menus were delightful. So much so, I took picture to remind myself of what great menus this place really has. I also had a fine glass of water. This was the finest, purest form of water I have ever experienced. Each hydrogen bond being broken by my quick slurping was absolutely fantastic. Great, filtered water and my bet is you will NOT find a better glass of water anywhere in the world. My one complaint would be with the door handle. It did not feel very comfortable in the hand. I do think of myself as somewhat of a door handle condenser or enthusiast and feel that my capabilities of recognizing door handles is one to none. This door handle, just did not feel right. The angle at which it was put on was very off considering it is supposed to be a 27.5 degree angle with the door and it was a little crooked too. Overall, my experience...

The customer service I received from the guy at the front counter was bad. I ordered pizza on my 30 minute lunch break like I have done several times, brought it back and it had artichokes on it and I really didn't like the way it tasted. I called and asked for a refund or the order to be replaced next time I stop in - just because I had to get to work. The guy on the phone was rude and said he can give $10 off my next order and that was it. I'm not upset about the wrong order - but at least say sorry and replace it or money back. If it was a topping I liked I probably wouldn't have said anything but the whole pizza tasted bad to me. When I ordered next time for my $10 off thing - the guy said you ordered artichokes last time. Haha I never ordered that on my pizza in my life so I know he messed up the order. He was rude and didn't even apologize or take responsibility for getting the order wrong. If they would have been polite sorry and replaced the pie with the right order on my next visit I would have been just fine and could keep going in there. But not saying sorry, blaming me, being rude, not getting a refund or order replaced for receiving the wrong order that wasn't even my fault - it just makes going in there kind of a not so pleasant experience. So I don't care to go there again.
