Update: Mario, who is in charge, was very kind and helped resolve everything. I’m glad because the food here is always amazing, and I was afraid I would have to take this place off of my list of favorites. Thank you.

Jessica needs to be fired.

I placed a phone order, and when Jessica answered, she told me she couldn’t process it because it was over $50. It was a dollar over. I’ve been a loyal customer for ten years, and they have always accommodated my orders without issue.

When I asked to speak to a manager, she hung up on me. I called back, and I got Jessica again, but this time she pretended to be the manager. Ridiculous, but I went along with it. She assured me she would place the order.

When I arrived, I was made to pay upfront, only to find out that my order had never been placed. The waitstaff acted like they had no clue what I was talking about until I insisted on getting a name for the person who had treated me so rudely. Jessica, the one who lied to me, hid when I came in asking for my order.

I demanded a refund because there is no way I am going to sit there and let this restaurant treat me like an idiot and waste my time after being a loyal customer for years. No food is worth this kind...

Location is right off the main road so it's easy to spot. The parking lot and exterior don't seem like it has been maintained that well. Even the decor and furniture inside is dated. Lots of staff available to greet us. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Our waitress was attentive and constantly came over to check on us to make sure we were doing well. They have such a large menu that sometimes it's difficult to pick. I had the Tamale de Elotes, a Baleada, and the fried plantains. The Tamale de Elotes tasted exactly how I imagined and it was fairly delicious. The Plantains were also exactly what I wanted. I travel to Honduras twice a year and my favorite food there are the baleadas. I've had them homemade by my Honduran friends and also directly from street vendors. That was what I was so excited about and it didn't disappoint. It was so delicious. I added an avocado to bring a little freshness and yet it was so delicious. I’ve been a repeat customer for multiple years & always return solely for the food. My experience with the staff has always been poor.

During my last visit, there was a food item missing from my plate. I asked the waitress, she claimed there wasn’t & did not take initiative to solve my issue. I had to take it upon myself to get a menu to verify & in fact there was something missing. I brought it to her attention, she went to the kitchen, & returned saying it was missing from my plate because the kitchen ran out of it. No apology. I asked if I would receive a discount & was told no, that it was impossible.

I am confused as to why I had to pay for the incompetence of the staff, from the kitchen to the general manager. Had I been informed that the kitchen ran out & that I would receive a 5-10% discount or could have substituted it for something else, I would have been satisfied. There are plenty of businesses with equipped staffed that would have handled the...
