It’s literally the closest food place around my job so I do frequent here every now & again. My orders are usually wrong or hard & salty ..I’m not a complainer nor a disrespectful customer so I tell myself I’ll be more specific in what I want Main red flag I ignored was a customer stating while ordering her food how she would like it. And asked them to make sure it was all fresh because every time she orders and asks for fresh it tastes old or like it’s been redipped in oil or tossed in the heater for too long . I called ahead before I even got my lunch break one pizza slice w/ground beef.i get there my order was wrong toppings I didn’t order were on my pizza and my ticket and I explained to them I’m not gonna have the opportunity to come back and receive my order she just looked at me like I was dumb.so I had to reorder make some time to go get it my pizza was BURNT not burned BURNT beef BURNT theres was NO SAUCE ON MY PIZZA and it tasted very old dry and hard ,premature amount of cheese I literally ate this with ketchup 😢amongst the high prices I still try to support this business when I can and it’s a shame I can’t get the quality food I pay for . And most of the employees are teens maybe that has something to do with it 🤦🏽♀️Instead of the owners trying to do something to fix the apparent issues they choose to go about life and review wise instead of reaching out to even have a conversation with people that have had bad experiences or terrible quality food and service they only respond to the positive 5 star ones.boy this world…

Read moreFrom a former New Yorker: This place makes a great NYC pizza that I drive out of my way to get. Probably the closest thing I've found to a good maintenance/street pizza slice in Charlotte. That said, it's VERY disappointing to read all the bad reviews here that aren't about food but about restaurant management. And worse, the tone-def cut and paste replies that ask for "another chance". You want to make NY pizza, here's some New York advice: stop begging for second chances and f-ing get it right the first time. You make a great product. You could have multiple locations by now. But your lack of attention to detail and poor management are hurting you. Stop apologizing and instead tell customers how you're ACTUALLY going to fix the simple problems they're telling you about like broken phones, rude employees, and wrong prices on your website. I want to see you guys succeed. Do something. Hire a restaurant consultant to help you identify and fix these mistakes. Be at least as angry as I am that you're getting these bad reviews and turn that anger into effort. I've never read so many bad reviews for a restaurant with food this good. And they're all management mistakes. Are you hearing what your customers are trying to tell you? Get it right and your good food will...
Read moreThis is written during Covid days so I can't speak to dining in. The staff are friendly and courteous. If they are busy, the acknowledge that you are waiting with a. We'll be right with you. I like being recognized. It makes a difference. The pizza is pretty close to NY Style. It is really hard to make that determination when ordering a whole pie. My suggestion to you is: they sell pizza by the slice during the day. Go grab a slice and make your decision then. I have ordered sandwiches there twice. They are nice, but not great. I tried a New York staple, a Sausage and Pepper Sandwich, The sausage was not slice. IT was on the bread like a hot dog. Also, they piled a ton of french fries on top of my sandwich and closed the lid. The cheese melted around the fries. I would not have mentioned this if it were just me. But my neighbor ordered the same sandwich and had the same observation. The fries on to of a melted cheese sandwich is not a good idea....and the sausage needs to be cut. I liked their Calzones. I liked their Stromboli. A solid four stars on those two..All in all. Grab a pie. I don't think you will be...
