Second time coming to Fonda Mexicana El Paraíso and I’am glad that we did. This time was bar none one of the best tasting food that reminded me of Mexico in a long time. Now they’re specials $9.99 come with side order of beans and rice. We got the 2 chicken gorditas , and 3 tacos specials. The chicken was so good it almost reminded me of the tinga my grandmother made , but the rice tasted like she actually made it . Needless to say it was so good we are going there again tomorrow. It was delicious and authentic as I have ever had , if you want some authentic gorditas and tacos this is the place.

I love this little take away restaurant. Delicious, Mexican food served plentiful and reasonably priced. There is an expansive menu and everything is listed on the wall with photos. I have had mostly tacos, sopes and today I tried tacos dorados. These crispy fried rolled up tacos are amazing. Served so hot you can barely touch them. I asked for salsa verde and chopped serrano peppers on mine and it gave it the perfect kick. Definitely a great small restaurant to support.

We pay $10 for shimp with rice food was disgusting just 3 small shimp look like maruchan shimp to small rest food was just green pepper onion a lot I’m no recommended this place no more Carne azada was more bad place strips beef was hard to eat to salty we spend $59 dollar everyone on my family trough on trash , never be back no more there

Great Take Out restaurant, El Paraiso serves Fresh and authentic Mexican food. Been here 8 or 9 times already, I am very familiar with most of the restaurants in this neighborhood (around lunch time) and this is becoming a regular spot for me.

My favorites so far are the: 1- Ricos Tacos (Chorizo, Steak and Lamb BBQ are the bomb) 2- Huarache Supremo (Steak, nopales, cheese, pico de gallo and avocado) 3- Torta de Bisteak (Mexican Version of the Philly Cheese Steak. Huge sandwich)

Tip: call and order ahead, food usually takes about 15-20 minutes to be cooked. This is a short time to wait for FRESH...

We really liked this place. It's takeout only. Service was very pleasant and helpful. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be prepared. I think they're cooking things to order as everything tasted freshly-made. The menu is very extensive and there are things I didn't recognize. They have pictures of most of the menu items on the wall...very helpful! The two salsas that came with our meals (red and green) were way spicier than the usual standard salsa you get. Very tasty. We'll be back to try...
