Great Take Out restaurant, El Paraiso serves Fresh and authentic Mexican food. Been here 8 or 9 times already, I am very familiar with most of the restaurants in this neighborhood (around lunch time) and this is becoming a regular spot for me.
My favorites so far are the: 1- Ricos Tacos (Chorizo, Steak and Lamb BBQ are the bomb) 2- Huarache Supremo (Steak, nopales, cheese, pico de gallo and avocado) 3- Torta de Bisteak (Mexican Version of the Philly Cheese Steak. Huge sandwich)

Read moreSecond time coming to Fonda Mexicana El Paraíso and I’am glad that we did. This time was bar none one of the best tasting food that reminded me of Mexico in a long time. Now they’re specials $9.99 come with side order of beans and rice. We got the 2 chicken gorditas , and 3 tacos specials. The chicken was so good it almost reminded me of the tinga my grandmother made , but the rice tasted like she actually made it . Needless to say it was so good we are going there again tomorrow. Read moreWe really liked this place. It's takeout only. Service was very pleasant and helpful. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be prepared. I think they're cooking things to order as everything tasted freshly-made. The menu is very extensive and there are things I didn't recognize. They have pictures of most of the menu items on the wall...very helpful! The two salsas that came with our meals (red and green) were way spicier than the usual standard salsa you get. Very tasty.
