Ding Tea Charlotte — Restaurant in Charlotte

I’ve been coming to this place since last summer! and I’ve never had anything bad to say about this until today! I walked in and every one from their staff like all the girls there saw me walked in and just stared at me, not even a Hello! Or welcome! Or we’ll be right with you. I was not even acknowledged, then when I noticed one girl came to register I walked up to her and she kept staring at me not saying a word, so after silent was so uncomfortable then I immediately asked for my order, and paid for it. As I’m putting my PIN number, a guy walks in and the girl with blond hair immediately welcomed him ask how he’s doing and what he needed, but me because I’m a girl they treated like trash. I would never ever! Come back to this place, they are so disrespectful immature, this people represent and are the face of your business, so in order to keep customers they should be nice and create a nice welcoming environment so customers will come back. I guess I have to be dark, tall and a guy for me to be acknowledged and welcome to this business. You should re-evaluate your staff because if they did that to me, I can only imagine how rude they are to others. If I could give...

Ok, so I had never been here before and wanted to stop by and see if they had Vietnamese coffee (they do not). Walked in and was not busy at all, so the girl behind the counter immediately greeted us and was just waiting for us to order. Now she was just standing there waiting and that makes me nervous so I quickly just tried to order some forms of coffee drink. I ended up ordering a large Vanilla flavored coffee drink and a Chai tea. Now the Boba balls do not come with the drink, that is extra (which is weird bc usually those drinks come with it). I didnt realize until after I ordered that you can tell them how much ice you want and also the sugar level you would like in your drink (extra, normal, less, slightly...etc) so unfortunately I DID not like my drink at all. I wish I could have just taken the time out to look through the menu or all of the signs they had taped with all the information to help you order. Also, I feel like the girl behind the counter could've helped me out or explained things better as she did see me get flustered and I asked questions but she looked rather annoyed that I didn't know what to order. Idk I may return, but...

The person taking my order left their AirPods in and left me having to repeat my order several times. First they were about to ring up a completely different drink, they thought I wanted STRAWBERRY when I ordered wintermelon, as if those two words sound the same. I corrected them and thought it was okay after that, then I got some kind of yellow boba in my drink even though I asked them for black boba. I asked them why they put it in my drink suspecting they misheard me yet again from STILL NOT TAKING THE AIRPODS OUT and they told me “It tastes the same.” It did not taste the same, it had like a grassy, honey kind of taste. I saw they even had black boba out on the counter so it’s not even like they ran out. No offer to remake my drink or anything, I was so fed up. I’d rather keep buying boba from inside G-Mart. I’m giving two stars because the decor is SUPER PRETTY and I like the ambiance, for that reason alone I’ll likely try it again someday and...
