Pho Ngon — Restaurant in Charlotte

I asked to exchange my meal and my waitress (who barely came to our table to check on us) said it was okay to exchange. Another waitress brought out my new meal, and when we got our tickets both meals were still on the ticket. When I asked for the first meal to be taken off (due to the fact that I did not eat it except for two bites to taste it) I was told I could not get it off of my ticket. Both the manager and the SECOND waitress, not even our original waitress because she kept walking past the table like she didn't know us or didn't care for our service, argued back and fourth with me over a meal I did not eat. She offered to take ONE DOLLAR off of the check and I still declined because what is one dollar off a $20 meal that I ate .10 cents worth of? I was told because I added seasoning to my meal that they werent allowed to take the meal back. So, if I didn't add anything they wouldve taken my meal back and what? - possibly just warmed it up and given it to another guest? I was told I shouldn't order new things if I don't like it (how am I supposed to know if I like it or not if I don't taste it?) and was told I was never to return (which I wouldn't due to poor customer service) and was threatened to get the police called. If they have a restaurant policy of not exchanging meals, the waitresses should say that in the first place or it should be written on the menu. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. These managers do not care for the customers' satisfaction. Do not come here if you've never been because if you're not familiar with the food they won't let you exchange it for...

“Friday Night Pho” is how I’m starting my weekend from now on! I called in to place and order and they were extremely pleasant to talk to. Took my order fast and gave me a quick expected turnaround. I arrived a little early to a nearly empty restaurant but it was minutes before closing. There were still people at a fee tables and looked like they weren’t being hurried out! Obviously great since they still took my order with pleasure! There was no one at the front when I walked in but as soon as door rung, the owner came out of the back to greet me with a welcoming demeanor. “Just one?” “No I just placed an order.” And he recited it back to me. “That’s it.” “Ok, about 4 - 5 min.” It was exactly that. I was so surprised at how clean and inviting the environment was. The place smelled delicious. And as the owner was ringing me up, I asked about a to-go menu. “No but everything is online and is super easy to order online also.” He pulled out his phone and walked me through it unprompted. I got Pho but they also have chicken wings!!!!! Not all places do and it’s heartbreaking. The Pho and chicken wings are delicious!!! I live in Steele Creek but used to drive to either Noda or Matthews just for pho because not all places are any good. And the prices here are as expected. I've eaten a lot of pho in my days and was excited to try this new place. The broth was decent but the noodles were extremely crumbly (literally dissolved when put in mouth). Either it was overcooked, or been set out for a long time, or just a poor quality all together. Either way, it didnt help that is was also very overpriced - $17!! My boys had fried rice and the meat to rice ratio was extremely stingey. My daughter had the beef stir fry. Whereas, typical stir fry have an array of color - this dish was 60-70% celery. We had a large group and insisted on splitting the order. The waiter said it was too much trouble and ended up putting it all together. When we went to pay, we tried to have him parse the order out by family. Again, he said "Too much trouble, just split it." Keep in mind I had the larger family and it would be inappropriate to have the smaller family "split" the bill equally. He was rude and seemed to be in a rush despite it being pretty slow. Plenty of Pho joints in Charlotte that taste better and treat customers...
