Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Charlotte

See my order below. Dominos, from now on, Dominos Pizza forever. I think this might be the worst review I've ever given. First, you can see my order below. So first, it was not stuffed crust, it was meant to be a half and half but the whole thing was pinapple and ham and none of the other ingredients, didn't receive the veggie lover at all, and received a large breadstick that was not ordered. Second, when I saw that my order said 'delivered' and I had not received it, I called out of concern that the order had been delivered to a neighbor. I had barely begun explaining my concern when the guy who answered the phone responded, "that ain't r app. We ain't got notin to do with that." So I asked "isn't this Pizza Hut?" He said, "yeah, but we use Door Dash," to which I answered, "I understand, but it's on my Pizza Hut rewards that it says delivered," and he responded that he would get the GM. He then put me on hold. It was several minutes and I suspect that it would have been much longer but the delivery guy knocked on the door. I tried to ask him about the situation but I had to speak in my broken Spanish since he didn't speak English and from what I understood he also referenced the app. I get that the app might not be perfectly synched. But when I called, the guy who answered should not have treated me like I was a nuisance interrupting his TikTok posting. And if you are using a 3rd party you should not be using them as an automatic scapegoat when a customer calls in. You should be working to get in synch with your vendor, explain that to your customer and in the meantime, work extra hard to get your orders correct. Certainly not as wrong as you got ours when I paid over 134 dollars. Dominos from here on out, Dominos Pizza forever.

Unfortunately, great customer service is lacking at this location! I placed an online order for the Big New Yorker pizza! As advertised via the online website, television advertisements, restaurant window stickers etc; is a pizza with TWO different types of pepperoni on it!! However, as I was leaving out of the store with my pizza, I noticed the box was EXTREMELY light! So, when I got in the car I opened the box and it was a plain cheese pizza! I went back in the store and showed them my order receipt from online and told them I was missing my pepperoni! The worker, then tells me that the Big New Yorker is a “create your own” pizza and I was supposed to select what toppings I wanted! I then proceed to tell her that based off the advertisements, the pizza automatically comes with pepperoni, how was I supposed to know any different? I then politely ask how can I get the pepperoni? Could they please remake it for me, since I had no way of knowing? She then tells me that they can’t remake it, and that I would have to pay for an entire new pizza!?!? I was so heartbroken at the fact that they displayed no effort whatsoever of good customer service!? I literally spent $15 after taxes for a plain cheese pizza that I honestly feel was also made on the wrong crust, because the box was so light!! If you look at any advertisement for this pizza, the crust appears to be rather thick!! And might I add again, Includes PEPPERONI!!! I was so upset, that I just left the pizza on the counter and told them have a great day, free...

EDIT 10/14/24 - I believe this location is under new management. The pizza has improved INCREDIBLY! I wanted to visit a couple times additionally before updating my review. The quality has been very consistent. I believe corporate has read the reviews.

I was hoping that a relocation to the South Tryon Pizza Hut would’ve resulted in a better experience. Unfortunately, with each visit the quality gets worse. Here’s why:

The pizza never ever has the appropriate amount of cheese. It’s always 90% sauce. Is there a shortage of mozzarella cheese? I’ve witnessed the the employees lack hairnets and gloves. One employee was seen scratching his ear/face and shaking his locs over pizza that he was cutting without gloves. The most disgusting thing ever. There’s never a greeting upon arrival.

I must say, despite the above experiences, there’s one lady who is friendly with a great smile. This store can definitely stand some improvement in the quality of their items and cleanliness of employees.

I’ve tried to give this store plenty of chances but the lack of cheese on the pizza is extremely unsatisfactory and there is nothing corporate is doing about it. I’m forced to take my business down the street. Honestly, have you seen the Google reviews for this location? Many many customers are saying the same thing regarding the lack of cheese on the pizza and lack of appropriate toppings. Please correct these issues as it illegal and false...
