I am genuinely disturbed by the service i have received with one of your locations today. Every day my team, we decide somewhere for lunch and today was potbelly since it was within a 2 minute walk of our corporate office. Only 2 of us decided to go to it so i placed my order around 11:45 and walked over. Supposed to be ready at noon. The staff there are completely frantic and unorganized. They had no clue who ordered what and at one point resorted to shouting what the item was and letting 2-3 people fight over who gets to take it. I requested to speak to a manager after waiting about 25 minutes (around 12:20) and he stated that he would make my meal whenever he felt like it. I tried to ask in the most civilized manor and only was received back with snarkyness and harsh tones like it was my fault he has to complete an order. I then said please cancel my order since they havent even started working on it and whatever his name was stated that they are not in the business of handing out refunds. They refused to refund me and said bring it up with your credit card and that they werent making my order. You have got to be kidding me? The entire store is run like a zoo and even management acts horrendously. I am contacting my bank to reverse the charges and the app has been removed from my phone. I will not be returning to this location or any other in the future. I will be posting this in multiple places. Read moreReally bad experience here, don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. I ordered online and when my partner came to pick it up, they told him they couldn’t find it. Once he brought up the confirmation and proof, they said they never received the order so they would have to make it. He called me and I told him to forget it, it had been a long while and everyone was hungry at this point, we didn’t want to wait any longer. We asked for a refund, they told my husband they would. They had him swipe his card, and we assumed it would be back in our account within 5-7 days. It’s been about 2 weeks and has been no change in the status of the transaction. The transaction has gone through but nothing was reversed or refunded. If someone would like to reach out to me about a refund, you are more than welcome to and I can edit the review and send proof. Read moreI had to go w two stars (instead of just 1) because I actually love Potbelly, but the Ballantyne location (Charlotte NC) has disappointed me every time. Usually it’s the painfully slow service, but today it took me 20 Mins to order (online at first, but then had to call as pricing didn’t reflect national sales - had to repeat the whole thing over the phone, talk w a manager, etc etc). I was offered a small discount for my troubles, but in the end still paid WAY more than the advertised prices for a meal deal — and then once we got home realized they shorted us 4 cookies!! We are all working/schooling from home and didn’t realize until after they closed, but feel completely ripped off/over charged, and delivering painful customer service in a time when we are doing our best to support local business.
