Reigning Doughnuts — Restaurant in Charlotte

March 2021 Hello you beautiful person. I’m just going to start by saying that I personally don’t enjoy doughnuts that much but these were freakin’ delicious 👅💦 and have made me realize that there are indeed good doughnuts in the world. Reigning Doughnuts 🍩 is a little, warm hole in the wall located in the NODA area of Charlotte. Your doughnuts are made to order, they will ALWAYS be fresh (so expect a short wait). I tried the Honey Glazed doughnut and the Cream Cheese & Blueberry doughnut. The Honey Glazed was okay, but the CC&B literally made me jazz for joy. So soft, fluffy, fresh, and firm. The only thing that sucks is the CC&B isn’t available everyday since that’s the doughnut for the day on Wednesday’s... so do take note that there’s a speciality doughnut based on the day. Ugh, I would’ve eaten more but I wouldn’t have been able to fit my pants... Also, the two people serving there were friendly and answered all of my questions. 🙂

Making magic in each bite through donuts. As, we parked the car we were hypnosis from donut cloud smell that seeped through the pipes as we walked up to place our order. Dang! Oh my. The lady aka Ms. Mathews cause I totally forgot to ask her name she was eager to help and very patient as we decided what to order. After, I asked a thousand questions about the how is. We ordered the apple, and seasonal eggnog donuts. When you see that golden layer on anything baked you know it's a treat you been craving. (Apple donut) Let me just say that bite was a thick soft crunch that reminded me of a funnel cake from the carnival gushing with your famous grandma apple pie taste. The eggnog was a hint of good glory not to much just right. Oh, I can't forget about the peppermint hot chocolate she took her time with lots of love making it on this cold day. Everything was just right! Yall can thank me later

Fabulous doughnuts... You order them, and they make them right then... They're not sitting in a window waiting to be bought. Walk up to the window, order, wait, eat. Simple. They are cake like doughnuts, which is old school, unlike most doughnut places where they are more like sweet bread style. Their coffee is overpriced but delicious as well. There's only 5 or 6 donuts to choose from, and their differences are only for plain to glazed to with honey, powdered and lemon Poppy and maybe one other kind and THAT'S IT. Like I said, simple but fantastic. The donuts are crispy and have the slightest crunch to them from being cooked in oil and served right away. But in the middle, they are soft and light. Did I already use the word "amazing"? Try this place. Go from 7 am till 11 am and then come back when they open the second time every day from 7...
