I want to start off by saying the food was very good. Salsaritas has excellent quality as far as food goes. With that being said I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism then I did coming to this location. The workers did not get up from sitting when I came to the counter. They didn't know where food products were. They didn't know how to use the register. What is worst is that they were indignant concerning the whole process. I ordered my daughter a pork quesadilla. The girl at the register says I cant order that for kids. It tell her it is on her sign for kids. She looks at the sign and still says "well I never seen people order that and I don't see it on the register". To make matters worst they were only concerned with getting off shift. As they were preparing my food they were mumbling to each other "Im tired of this I cant wait to get off". The lack of courtesy and professionalism shows that salsaritas does not take the time to hire quality staff. It also shows that this location does not have a manager which is desperately needed. This is the first time I have ever written a review, but I experienced such horrible service I felt I had no choice. ABSOLUTE...
Read moreSo weird because I usually never have a problem here. The food is always good and the staff is always pleasant. Tonight I did not have a good experience with a staff member as she really wanted to argue and go back and forth me. Very unprofessional and it could have been avoided had she clarified her question instead of assuming I did not want queso with my chips. I said no I did not want any salsa/sauces on my bowl, but it was never a question of if I wanted queso with my chips. Also they did not have the queso ready out front so maybe that is why she assumed I did not want any. Either way I am not sure, but she was really willing to argue with me on this. Also while preparing my food she seemed to not be too focused as I had to repeat several times what I wanted on my bowl. Not sure if she could not hear or what, and the other employees seemed just as unprofessional as her. I do not think I have seen an employee so eager to go back and forth with a customer in front of other customers and other workers. I will try another location...
Read moreI recently visited Salsarita’s and was warmly greeted by Jourdan, who immediately asked how my day was going. That small gesture truly stood out—it’s not every day you get such thoughtful service. Jourdan was new but incredibly patient and customer service-oriented. He handled our order with care and professionalism, even when a small mistake was made (giving us a bowl instead of two separate taco containers).
What stood out, unfortunately, was the way the manager addressed him. Instead of gently correcting the error, her tone felt unnecessarily rude and belittling—especially toward someone clearly still learning the ropes (which is why I gave a 3/5 for atmosphere). As a customer, it was uncomfortable to witness, and I felt bad for Jourdan, who was doing his best.
I would definitely return, especially because of Jourdan’s positive energy and helpfulness. I just hope the management team creates a more encouraging environment for their staff—it makes all the difference in both employee morale and...
