Santa Fe Mexican Restaurant - Central Ave. — Restaurant in Charlotte

Food is good here but customer service to those who aren’t Spanish is very sketchy! Tonight was my last and final time is l ordering from this establishment the blatant disrespect and lack of accountability for their mistakes is beyond me and as a result they will no longer get my money.

I ordered through grub hub got an email confirmation and all that my order will be ready for pick up by 840 pm the latest i get there exactly at my scheduled pick up time give them my name and that i ordered through grub hub to then be told that they don’t have any orders for Grubhub i said can’t be because not only was i charged i have the confirmation via email for the order then I’m told the iPad for Grubhub is dead so i say we’ll charge it up because I’m not leaving without my food or money. The back and forth about the order went on for a few minutes because it really seemed they thought i was lying even after seeing the proof on my phone if the email confirmation along with the pending charge on my account needless to say i was vindicated when they charged the iPad and guess what was sitting right there my order no apology for the mix up just “oh we see your order your going to have to wait for it since it’s just coming through” no problem might as well since I’m already here so i wait the 10-15 mins for my food to then get it and cannot check it before leaving due to it having a knot in it so i asked for help with the bag and was told to rip it and when asking for another bag i guess my wanting to double check my food was offensive because the attitude received behind that request was the absolute most and im confused on how im the one being inconvenienced and remaining as calm as can be and giving no attitude when the establishment that messed up has all the attitude in the world it just doesn’t make sense so with that being said i give them 1 stars for this last visit and i will not be a...

Do not place an order on their website! I placed an order for pickup via their own website. When I got to the restaurant to pick up my food they told me that they are not "doing" online orders at this time.

When I told the waitress that the restaurant had already charged my credit card and I showed her my confirmation email she was very unhelpful. She just kept saying "they" would give me money back. "They" were the bank, the owner, or the manager...she didn't seem to know as she told me all three. I asked for a manager but he wasn't in. I asked for his contact number but she wouldn't give it to me. After 5+ minutes of arguing she finally called the manager who assured me over speaker phone that he would refund my money as soon as he returned.

As I was walking back to my car the manager actually pulled into the parking lot and flagged me down. He was very apologetic and gave me his card. He told me he would refund my money as soon as possible, which he did shortly after. So I did get my money back finally, but it took far too much hassle. And they shouldn't be accepting orders on their website if they're not...

I was really craving some Chilaquiles, so I decided to try this place out during my lunch break. I have never been here before, and let's just say I'm so GLAD I chose this location. It was empty when I got there and was immediately greeted by the friendly host and waitress. Everyone was super nice. The ambiance inside was great. Even though it was during lunch hours, the music was awesome, and the place was super clean and put together. The food came out in a timely manner, and everything was DELICIOUS! I ordered the Mexican chilaquiles in red salsa, with rice, beans, avocado, and fried cheese. It was so delicious! The steak was perfectly marinated and very tasteful. I will definitely be coming back to try different items on their menu. They have a wide variety of different foods. They also have a drive-thru window, which was a first for me for a Mexican place, but I feel like that's great, especially if you're running on a short time for lunches.
