T Caps Tavern — Restaurant in Charlotte

I would love to give this place five stars but when we got there a large group arrived just before us and everybody was more concerned about this large group than us the waitress did get our drink order rather quickly but I had to get her attention to place our food order and I had to flag her down and be like what's taking so long with our appetizers and I had to ask for a refill of my drink but the food was delicious and she apologized and comped only one of our appetizers the other thing was the chairs were so uncomfortable and I had to sit there so long I had to get out of my seat and stand up they were really tall bar stools and the place where you put your feet is so low that my legs dangled and I'm 5'9 but the food was DELICIOUS so that goes a long way in my book I understand things happen and our waitress did take off one of our appetizers so I hope next time when I come back it's a...

Food was good. I had a Chicken Fiesta Wrap and hubby had a Blazin Burger. We could tell they were short staffed, so we had no issue waiting a little longer for food. When we were ready to leave however, it was a whole different story. Our server stood at the table behind us chatting with the patrons for over 20 minutes. Finally, after noticing that we were annoyed, another server came over and got our bill for us. We then had to take it up to the bar to pay because the server was still standing around talking!! The service was fantastic! However, the food was less than stellar. We ordered the CJ's which were really good! When our burgers came however, they both were wrong and had to be sent back. When the server returned with them. It looked like the cook just scraped the wrong items off of one burger and put them on the other! Then still forgot to replace ordered items on the burgers! When we did get them back the burgers were almost cold. The server did comp one of the burgers for the hassle which was nice. And we had absolutely no issues with her at all.
