Congrats to the local community on an excellent, interesting & well managed local history museum. The scope of their many collections is unusually broad. The buildings are authentic and well preserved. The staff/volunteers are friendly and outgoing while respectful of personal space. Best of all, there is a sustainable & well executed vision & mission evident throughout the campus.

Courthouse square museum We came for the “Frontier day craft show”. Interesting. Yes, we drove 1:30hr away to check it out. We do that kind of stuff. Not bad event. Small town. Lots of craft for sure. FYI, don’t park on the street. You might get a ticket. Drive around and you can park in the big parking lot made for store shopping. Highly recommended

I went for an open house for my daughter's friend. I had no idea this place was there. They had so many interesting things to look at, unfortunately I didn't have time. The women's bathroom had several displays and I spent several minutes just looking things over.

We went to an " oddities convention" but really wasn't it was a bunch of crafters with horror themed items there was only a couple oddities stands but most was just home made stickers cups ECT that was horror and weird themed items. To Allot of book sellers writers well mostly honestly more writers selling books than actual items

I use a walker to get around and couldn't go upstairs to the museum Or to meet the Jason actor sure to my disabilities.

My wife and daughter waited from noon till almost 2 to me a Jason actor they had 0 air blowing and it was around 100° degrees inside the building.

The actor apologized once he got there but was 2 hours later due to his flight and then something else.

The ppl running the convention did not set anything up for him he was even complaining about them not setting anything up

no banners tables nothing then the heat he was very upset about that and only after he started complaining did they actually get a small fan and my wife said it dropped 10 degrees in there.

There were more people with their books for sale than crafters other than stickers and cups.

Paranormal groups and writers with their own merch and books for sale. Do not go to the oddities convention for oddities we will not. The courthouse is not handicapped friendly the staff had no idea what was going on when people asked they were ignored or just told they don't know.

We love in Flint so it was an hour each way. And honestly we found cololer stuff in the little consignment and resale shops around the square than we did at the oddities convention waste of time has and money. The stands at the convention were so over priced it was insulting small dollar store dolls that had their hair cut with some horror makeup were 60$

it was ridiculous We...

Went here for Frontiers Day. It's a week long festival with art and craft fairs, theres a saloon you can go to with a live band, dog shows, kids activities, a small petting zoo type set up that had these two baby goats I wanted to take them so bad lol, there was a day that was all like a Halloween theme I loved that. If you and anyone you know that want to have a good time and experience some interesting things...example there was a tent where this couple made fake skin lamps, bloody fetuses, and some other bloody appendages lol it was incredibly how life like they were. Overall a great place you your friends and your loved ones to go and have a good time for a whole week. It starts around 8am and goes for some nights till 1am.

The saloon is or was 6$ a...

Really great customer service Sherry was volunteering her time for my family from different town and me from a different town to come up and see the courthouse when the courthouse was not open and taking the time out of her life to show us around amazing only reason of four star is for the bit of a mess other than that what gave a five-star for just the customer service...
