Update as of 11/24/2024. Quindon rang me up and was very pleasant and friendly.
So this service rating of 1/5 is to only rate the employee ( black female, short, locs in her hair) who was very dismissive and rude of my inquiry about why I received such a small portion of beans with my order. Normally I order the Tacu bowl with no rice and everytime I've done this, it has always come with extra beans without me asking.
Today, I was shocked to see the portion was so small. When I went to the register to inquire, the cashier Lucy, who was very pleasant and friendly, looked concerned about the portion as well. I could tell she wanted to do something but wasn't exactly sure what she could do. Over walks the employee mentioned earlier and she was very short, rude, and dismissive. She shrugged as if to imply "Oh well that's your problem" and stated "well you should've ordered extra beans" and walked away. There was NO attempt to come to a resolution. Luckily another employee who was pregnant could tell something was wrong and asked me about it. I told her the issue and she quickly asked if I would like to have the rice added in a small bowl. I asked if I could have beans instead and she said sure. Thank you to her and Lucy! If it weren't for them this experience would've left a sour taste in my mouth and I would've avoided this location (which is the closest to me) going forward just to avoid the rude...
Read moreWHAT HAPPENED TO VICA CHICKEN?!!! I HADN'T been here in a while and the manager wasn't as empathetic as Anthony. The Trece Leche cake looked like it was half a portion for the order to be over 6 dollars. I was charged almost 2.00 for sauce and there is no sign saying that sauces now cost extra. When I asked the manager he couldn't give me an answer just a shrug of the shoulder. This indicates that he doesn't care and has no customer service skills. I had to wait 20 minutes for rotisserie chicken at the dinner hour when everyone is getting off of work. You have no chicken prepared and it's your biggest seller. You had one good cashier. The quality of this store has gone to trash! I spent 17.00 on a chicken dinner when I could have gone to the grocery store and probably have gotten better quality in a shorter amount of time for a lot less. The signage for Viva chicken wasn't on the door so I wasn't sure if it was under new management. Your manager needs training in customer service. I don't know what happened to this store but you will not find me spending my hard earned money in this franchise ever again. I'm sure if this store keeps going in this stingy unprofessional atmosphere it will end up like another dead franchise such as pizza hut or...
Read moreAlthough I have visited Viva Chicken quite a few times, I have to admit their customer service during my latest visit was ROCKSTAR level! To be honest, I have always had excellent customer service here, but this time, I felt compelled to boast a little bit about Viva Chicken.
Viva Chicken is a restaurant off of Park Road that specializes in marinated chicken grilled Peruvian-style on a charcoal rotisserie. Their charcoal-fired rotisserie is very tasty, I promise. On this specific night, we ordered the family dinner:
Half-charcoal-fire rotisserie Cilantro Rice Plantains Mild and spicy sauces
The cashier was welcoming, kind, and warm-- I believe he was the manager, but I didn't get his name. He was truly delightful! I was very pleased, especially because it was almost time for restaurant to close. I can see that this place has a professional yet friendly customer service vibe, and I adore it
I have to say, the chicken was amazing! Our only disappointment was that we didn't opt for the full chicken - we literally devoured the chicken. Trust me, we won't make that mistake again. :)
Check out Viva Chicken if you're in the mood for some succulent, savory, and literally falling off the bone rotisserie chicken! You won't be...
