I used to eat here when I lived in Charlottesville nearly a decade ago, and I was pleased to find out that it was just as good as it used to be. The Santa Fe enchilada was exceptional…and, being a native New Mexican, I’m pretty picky! Yes, it’s busy and noisy, but that is part of the charm. Don’t let the line scare you. You can enjoy a marg while you wait and chances are you’ll run into a friend — or make a new one — before you get to your table.

Stopped by on a Tuesday night around 6.30 and the place was packed. Came back the following day around 5 or so and got a seat at the bar. Within 45 minutes the place was full. The tropical brisket was on the menu and it was really good. The brisket was seasoned well and was tender. The whole plate was seasoned well and very good. If you try their dangerous sauce, it is quite hot. Great service behind the bar too.

One of Cville's top ten restaurants, in our opinion. Not for fancy nights, but for the nights when you want a damn good meal. Tiny spot with booths and a bar that has killer "tex mex" and margaritas. Look for the neon green sign that reads, "GET IN HERE" which is across from the train station. Red Hot blues, Tuna Tostada, Sante Fe Enchilda, it's all delicious. You can't go wrong.

Prepare yourselves for an epic flavor expedition because these beef tacos are the real deal, folks! Trust me, I've tackled wild beasts and survived in the untamed wilderness, and these tacos are just as thrilling. They pack a punch that'll awaken your taste buds and leave you craving more.

Now let me tell you about the lightning-fast service at this joint. It's like they've harnessed the power of a puma on Red Bull! Blink twice, and voila, your order magically appears before you. With that kind of speed, you'll have plenty of time to savor every mouthwatering bite of these taco wonders.

But it's not just the food that makes this place a winner. The staff here is as friendly as a pack of golden retriever puppies, always ready to serve up some culinary awesomeness with a side of smiles. They're like the survival experts of flavor, navigating your taste buds through uncharted territories of deliciousness.

And let's not forget about the margaritas, my friends. They're mixed with the skill and precision of a seasoned survivalist, blending flavors that'll make your taste buds dance a jig. Sip by sip, you'll be transported to a tropical oasis, even if you're miles away from the nearest beach.

So, if you're craving a meal that's as adventurous as a jungle expedition, this place is your go-to destination. Whether you're a fearless flavor explorer or just hungry for some darn good food, this joint will satisfy your hunger and ignite your taste buds. Don't miss the chance to embark on a flavor-filled adventure that'll leave you saying, "Chance Davis would approve!"

Now, listen up, amigos. The Santa Fe and the beef tacos are a match made in taste bud heaven. These babies will transport you to flavor nirvana faster than I can build a shelter in the wilderness. Once you sink your teeth into them, you'll become a die-hard fan faster than you can start a fire with a...

So disappointed. First the food; prior to leaving and after a long wait we had a quesadilla and their version of nachos, both were burnt on the edges, which made eating the nachos very difficult as they were welded together with cheese.

I was also disappointed in the margaritas, both of which could have used the addition of a sweetener. The Just Lime margarita was beyond bitter.

The music being played was incredibly loud, so everyone had to yell to be heard even if they were sitting directly next or across from you.

Lastly, but most importantly the service. We called ahead to see if our large party could be accommodated, sent out part of the party to check in and were told that they would have two booths for our group, one now and one on a short wait list. There was no second booth when the rest of the part arrived and as we waited we were told repeatedly that the next available booth would be ours, however, the next available large booth was given to a couple (as in two people) that arrived after our party. Ultimately, the second half of our party had to leave as it was obvious that we weren't going to be given a...

A couple of friends and I headed here after work for dinner and drinks. I’m not from the area but heard nothing but great things and was advised to ‘arrive early’. The weather was awful that evening (last Thursday, if anyone wondered) but this place ended up being packed by the time we got through most of our meal. The appetizers and entrees were fresh, hot, a delicious. Know that Continental Divide specializes in Tequila, don’t go looking for daiquiris here… I think I had 2 of the best margaritas I’ve ever had in life that night, seriously. We finished off with dessert, Brownie a lá Mode and I only wish I’d gotten my own and not split it with my girls. I’ll be planning...
