Let me start off by saying the atmosphere is awesome! Now let’s get to some of the restaurants. We went to the Jamaican restaurant. The food was very unseasoned, but service was excellent. We also went to citizens Burger, where we placed an order and waited for it to be cooked, while waiting for our order, we saw the cook eating something while he was preparing our food. I have tried to contact the restaurant through email and their website to no avail. No one has responded. We also went to the pizza place where an employee was eating while preparing spinach for the pizzas right in front of everyone. I did contact that restaurant, who in fact responded immediately and asked if I had a picture in which case I did and I sent it to them, I never heard back from them after I sent the Picture. There is also a bar in this establishment where the person did not know how to make a long island and put almost half soda in the drink when it’s supposed to be a splash and was going to charge $16. There is no way someone would pay $16 for half a glass of alcohol and the rest soda I hope. You never know when a health inspector will come through and see the actions of the employees of these Restaurants. A week later, we tried to give citizen, burger, another try, and the bun was burnt. If you zoom in on the second picture, you will see it’s either a calzone or a slice of pizza that the employee was eating while prepping...
Read moreI wish I could review specific restaurants in Dairy Market, but that does not seem to be possible. Ordering at Maizal was painful. Two of my kids and I stood at the counter in front of the sign reading "ORDER HERE" for several minutes before being told to go to the other end of the counter to order at the kiosk. Only 1 of the 2 kiosks was operational. We navigated the menus and placed our order, only to look up and see the staff making food for a family IN LINE AT THE COUNTER where we had just been standing. That family received and paid for their food WAY before we got ours. There were only 2 ladies working the entire restaurant, so it took about 15 minutes to get our food. Just a bad customer experience. The food was delicious, but the pico de gallo was loaded with fresh jalapenos, which was not appreciated by my daughter.
On the other hand, the rest of my family went to Basta Pasta and Mashu Festival with no issues. We ate our food at Starr Hill so that we could enjoy some excellent beer with our dinner.
We planned to get ice cream at Moo Thru after dinner, but they closed more than half an hour earlier than the posted time. So we drove to the downtown mall and got ice cream at...
Read moreBLAND! UNSEASONED!! TASTLESS!!! INAUTHENTIC!!!! These four words are the best descriptors for most of the food vendors in here! Tell me why my gyro was wrapped like a walmart makeshift burrito and tasted like one too. Tatziki sauce = your diet mom’s granola yogurt. No greek influence at all. MAIZAL… I will never understand why your line is so long. Has no one who enters dairy market ever had mexican food? I feel like I should’ve know when I took a look around and saw none of my people standing in line 👀, Your Expired juices with no sugar, now c’mon. The Italian place’s cannolis tasted like they were around 50 years old. The ramen place got that mushy/crunchy boba consistency that makes you question why you wouldn’t just go to Mogeé on the corner. THE BEST SPOTS IN HERE ARE MOOTHRU AND MANILA!!! And guess what?? Manila is gone now! I guess their food must have been way too well seasoned and beautifully authentic to get any business here. Ending note: I read the other reviews and yes, I agree the Decor is giving 💅🏽✨But the food is not 👎. Moothru is carrying heavy with that yummy delicious ice cream 😋! The only spot in here worth your time from my experience thus...
