I am altering my first review to add that you responded in a very timely way which leads me to believe that you care about your business! I will be back because of you initiating a response that was adequate but will suggest that you clearly need better communication and if your Fridays are that busy ensure that your staffing is adequate and your food supply is plentiful. It is hard when your order is placed and accepted that you could disappoint the folks that are patiently waiting to have your delicious food. I will say that the food was not up to your usual standards and the much loved plantains were not edible because they were ROCKS! Thank you again for reaching out as it does show that you care. There are many ways to take orders beside ordering on line and if your phone is so busy perhaps you could add a fax line to take those calls and orders... just a thought.
1st review: Called all morning to place a lunch order and no answer! Finally got an answer and they took all 16 orders for our employees. This was placed at noon and they told us to order online! We did that and on the way to pick it up they cancelled us!! Then told us it would be ready at 2:00!!! This was lunch! When arrived they argued with us and said they didn’t have enough food. They proceeded to serve others! Then told us it was supposed to be a catering order! How would we know since we spoke to the owner! Unprofessional and rude to us for their errors! After loving their food at the market and their Jefferson School location for years and using them professionally often, we were excited to finally get to use them as caterers for our own event. Denisha, the catering manager, is a joy to work with. She helped us customize our menu with fancy appetizers and the most delicious buffet spread. We also hired them to bartend the event. They worked diligently to ensure everything ran perfectly on our big day. We got many compliments from every table, even those with severe dietary restrictions, who were thankful Denisha went above and beyond to clearly label each item to accommodate our guests (gluten free, vegan, nut free etc.). Read moreI eat here more than any other place. I have probably eaten here more than I've cooked for myself since I moved here two and a half years ago.
The 3 star review is because of the hours. I don't eat breakfast and I don't eat lunch. This is a dinner spot for me and I don't really get why they would change their hours to close at 3. 8 already seemed too early for me but I could understand it.
Every time I want to eat here now they're closed... :/

Thanks for reading. I'll change the review. As a fellow small business owner I know how hard it is to find people who actually put in the effort right now. This is also me speaking from my first job being a boh fast food job at minimum wage. I worked extremely hard even though I only got $7.25 because I believe one should put in their all.
