In my opinion, the best coffee and atmosphere in Charlottesville. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well. Food is excellent as well, though the café and restaurant next door share so sometimes it's a little confusing. If you want to sit down you can go to the restaurant (great experience, highly recommend) but you can get the same food to go from the café, or even just the same food in to go containers to sit in the café with. The upstairs is super cute and quiet and great to work in or bring a friend to hang out. Overall...

Dog friendly cafe! My husband and I bumped into this cafe because it's the only one open on the Labor day. Wow, their food is amazing. I ordered eggs omelet and my husband ordered steak and eggs. Their food quality is hotel grade and top notch. And the steak was in a big size compared to where I come from. The cafe was busy but the staff was Nice and polite, so I gave him a good tip. Definitely a great recommendation for those who travel by train and look for...

I have visited Quirk Cafe often over the last couple of years. I love the decor (inside and out), and their GF muffins are a family favorite. And Colleen in the cafe, and Julian (now the food service manager) are some of the best humans I know.
