New brewery! Talked with the owner and staff, super friendly. Beer is not hit and miss as it was made out to be, just different in personal flavors. Nothing to me was BAD like some breweries can be sadly, being rushed. Atmosphere and sitting is great and what you came for... the reviews:
Schram weisse Kristel weizen 5.1- Heff color, smells like a typical heff, and tastes like one. Less banana and clove than usually, but for me I would rather have that.
Nacht nacht schwarzbier 5.1- Dark. I think over only had one schwarzbier before and it was interesting… this one is the same. Supposedly coffee, not getting much from that, I'll let it warm up some before adding.
Smell milds down, coffee flavor fades a bit.
Brickyard blonde 5- Clear straw color, smells of apple cider and peanuts. My Lord though, it tastes like bread mixed with toned down peanut butter and honey. Fantastic.
Black IPA 8.1- Black IPA, for my taste don't know what else to say sadly. Other than I don't actually hate it like most, but I still would get a pint. Something about that flavor doesn't fit well with me.
Biere de Garde 6.4- Dark toffee color, sweet/bark smelling with apple, cinnamon and brandy.

Read moreWe made the drive from Northeast Minneapolis because the reviews were good and we had a coupon, so it seemed like a nice Friday family outing. We didn’t check the website until we got here, and were taken aback by the aggressive anti-family messaging we found, which was echoed on the front door. I see from the reply on another review that clearly this establishment has had issues with unruly children in the past, but I don’t think one bad experience over a year ago justifies how unwelcome and uncomfortable it made our family feel. The beer was OK, nothing was a stand out. We got flights and tried most of the menu. The fruited sour tasted like bad fruit cocktail, the gose like artificial lime flavoring, and the blonde had a distinct buttered popcorn flavor that is characteristic of fermentation flaws. The black lager, while tasty, was far too stout-like. We enjoyed the Helles and the flagship IPA well enough, but not enough to come back for it. Indoor vibe was nice, staff friendly, everything seemed clean. I liked the large patio space, and the food truck was tasty but sloooow. The live music helped add to the ambiance, but it was so loud it made conversation difficult and the Jesus music and funeral songs really weren’t the vibe I particularly look for when I’m out for a drink on a Friday Night. If I lived in the area I’d settle for this place, especially if I didn’t have kids, but I certainly won’t be going out of my...

They also have seltzers and sodas for non beer people. The taphouse has large garage doors that open for a nice view when the weather is nice. They have nightly specials, trivia nights, and bag league. ...
