El Paisano — Restaurant in Chaska

At first glance, it was a little intimidating walking into a new place and not knowing what any of the pastries are or how to pick them up. I asked for assistance and the staff was very friendly in assisting me. I was able to understand how everything works and once we got our tray, the party started. My girlfriend and I grabbed a total of 4 pastries and when it came time to pay, we had only spent $6 Cash!!!

So, the question arises on why 4 star and not 5…. Personally, I felt the place could use some TLC. Stuff was everywhere and it was a little cramped. I won’t hold this against them as it was still early in the morning and the other reason was none of the pastries had labels identifying them. They had signs everywhere and it was a little confusing. It would’ve been nice to have some signs in English.

With all that being said, I highly recommend giving this place a shot and trying some of the delicious fresh baked goods. Bring in $10 and grab a few fun and...

Here's the good and bad. Some of the items are very tasty. Some are very average. Nothing is labeled so you have no idea what you're getting unless you're familiar with Mexican pastries. The employees? Rude as hell... Every time. Last time we were yelled at by a gentlemen as we were picking out our items. What was he yelling at us about? I have no idea since I don't speak Spanish. But I'm assuming he didn't like that I was using the tongs to pick a doughnut that wasn't at the front of the display. I was being picky. 🤷‍♀️ He also pointed to a sign that was also in Spanish... If you'd like me to follow directions, write the sign in Spanish AND English. I'll never return. Literally the worst customer...

The service is terrible, I don't know if it's the owner because when I told her what wasn't correct and that someone had recommended me a person who no longer buys because of events like that, his response was one customer, it doesn't matter, I told her not to say that because why not? It is correct, I think that if you spend $1.00 it is valuable for your account, another person listened and also said that he would not return.
