We come into this Zaxbys, Iâd say, at least 3 to 4 times a month. Weâve noticed a glaring trend. Your first shift is stacked with all star cooks and FOH employees. My family typically doesnât an issue with service or food. The night crew, however, is a nightmare. We always vow never to come back after each time we experience the night crew. We usually dine in and I can never spot the shift manager either BOH or FOH. The lobby is a wreck most of the time. Receipts, napkins, straw paper, and food on the floor. On one occasion, I recall grabbing the broom and dust pan and sweeping the lobby (because there was one left just leaning up inside one of the two person booths). Other times Iâve just picked up the trash off the floors. There is seemingly a surplus of employees in FOH but (no fault of their own) they seem unmanaged and donât have much of a directive. I could be wrong but this is the impression Iâve gotten. On to the quality of food. My wife gets the same thing every time she comes, nibbler meal done up kickin chicken style, no zax sauce. And every time it is wrong. No biggie we just send it back. We get it, weâve managed Zaxbys before (Me GM and my wife an assistant). We try to be understanding. Our requests for a remake are usually met with an eye roll or simply just silence while confusedly taking back the order. No âIâm so sorryâ or âwe apologize weâll get that fixed right awayâ. We know the way these employees are supposed to be trained, either they arenât, or theyâre just obstinate and need to go. Still we try to understand and we come back, Never leave a review and just hold out hope. The last time was where we drew the line. My whole family got nibblers this time. My wifeâs were actually made correctly. Except the nib buns were hard as a rock. All of them. I already know what it was (are you guys not aloud to premake and use the wing warmer anymore to keep the soft and fresh). Chicken looked like chicken does at shift change before someone doesnât fifo correctly. Nice dingy brown color, fries were cold with no seasoning. I didnât even accept the order and sent it back immediately. It was returned some 10 minutes later with âis that better?â. Again, no apology. Hospitality seems to be a key issue with respect for quality of food reigning in at 2nd issue. Iâll go during the day, but night shift is killing your bottom line. Hope the review...
   Read moreDon't try to get your food you paid for replaced when they leave off your large fries! They will treat you like you are trying to get something for free!! We were tired on a late night and decided to get Zaxbys on our way home. Hubby and I always eat together but when we got home, no fries in the bag. I called and got Max who was the "manager on duty" and he said come back and as long as I have my receipt he will remake mine since it was now going to be cold. I asked if I could come back to drive thru and he said he would have it all ready for me and took my name. I get back to drive thru, Makayla I think looked at me like I was stupid and never said a word and hands me a basket of fries. I explained that Max said he would remake mine since it has now sat in my car for 30 minutes and would be cold. She closes window and starts making drinks for thr next order I guess. After about 10 min, another young girl comes to window and asks if im waiting for something. I explained it all again. Then Max comes to window and said he only knew of fries not remaking mine since it's cold now. He forgot or didn't care, not sure which. So he asks for my cold order and I handed it back. I said these fries are probably cold now too. He doesn't care about that either. So he puts (maybe) my new order in bag and hands it to me. I told him thanks. I guess he threw my cold one away or put back in my bag since it is cold too. Wow. $22.00 and was treated like I was trying to get free food....
   Read moreThere was a white tip acrylic fingernail in our food!!!! From one of the workers. To be exact it had a gold star or design on it. The manager was extremely rude and kept the recipe so I could not place a review on their app! Ridiculous. We go here probably 2 times a week sometimes! Well we are never coming back!! I would be ashamed to have people work for me like that. & the girls in the background were all laughing. Extremely rude and uncalled for. They kept the fingernail, they made us give our water back bc we didnât understand why it was 2.50 which would have been fine but they were rude about it, they refused to give us back our receipt so we canât go to the Zaxbyâs website to make a review, and we said weâd pull up to get the water back from our kid if it was such a big deal so we didnât block their drivethru.
