100 Hibachi,Sushi &Ramen - Ooltewah — Restaurant in Chattanooga

As far as the overwhelming majority of the staff the quality of the food the service all those things absolutely nothing but amazing things to say however after coming here a dozen times or so since this location open tonight made me feel that it was necessary to write a review Jason and Corbin are absolutely phenomenal every time I go in there there's a smile on their face they're incredibly helpful and they do everything they can to make sure that my order is right whether it's something simple or something complicated sushi chef always on point super consistent makes amazing food tonight JD looked me dead in the face and refused to take my order and demanded that I do it on the kiosk my livelihood is sales if I refused to take somebody's money that just makes me foolish and self-righteous I understand people may have bad days but the way I was treated made me want to never come back to this place again after spending several hundred dollars over the course of a couple of weeks on multiple orders of sushi for my wife I'll be back again just because the food is so good and the other employees are so fantastic but when something like this happens it's so egregiously different and wrong it's very upsetting to add salt to the wound when she has a conversation behind the counter with one of the gentlemen and asks is the fat guys order ready it's a...

So, let me start by saying my food & service is always great. My server, I don’t want to name them, was absolutely amazing. Every time I have gone to this restaurant, I have had the pleasure of being served by this server. So now let me get to why if I could give this review a 0, I would. Management/ownership. I believe his name is Jason? Jackson? Something like that. What an absolute awful manager. I am here multiple times a week. And I have been for months. I am very experienced in the restaurant industry, having worked my way from a bus girl to a server to a bartender to management and then ownership. All equating to over 20 years in the food industry, from fast food to sit down restaurants. Every single time I’m in here, he is NOWHERE to be found. Every single customer, happy or not, is left to the servers. All these bad reviews, should be MITIGATED by a manager or owner speaking with the customer to try to make it better. Shame on him. And I feel awful for everything being blamed on these overworked, burnt out servers who are just trying to make a living. So next time you go in to this restaurant, give your server some grace and a couple of extra bucks. They’re doing way more than is required of them, including managerial tasks. Shame shame shame...

This place had great sushi and amazing service as well. We came on July 4th and were pleasantly surprised that they were open on that day.

First we both got Thai Tea with boba. I was surprised at how large the drink cups were. They were bigger than I expected and had a decent amount of drink + boba pearls inside. It tasted really good. I wasn't sure if I could customize sweetness level and ice like I normally would at a boba shop, but sweetness level was not too sweet yet sweet enough. The boba had a nice chewy consistency.

For entrees, I ordered the Alaska Roll and asked for a California Roll with a lightly fried exterior. Everything was delicious. It all tasted so fresh, from the fish to the veggies. I have no complaints, our service was amazing. We always got checked on, our server was quick to get us what we needed, and was very friendly.

Even though what I ate looked pretty small from pictures, the boba definitely filled me up. I felt like the portion size for what I ordered was perfect for me. I would absolutely come back again to try their other sushi rolls and also their ramen too. Loved it and I can't...
