We stopped in while visiting Chattanooga and were genuinely impressed. The Sigmund pizza was excellent—great flavor, great crust, and definitely something we’d order again. What truly stood out was the service. Our server, Aaron, was friendly, professional, and took great care of us. Emma, though not our server, also made a strong impression with her sweet and calm presence. You don’t always find a team that works this hard and still shows genuine care for their guests—but this crew did exactly that.
For context—my wife is a 25-year professional server, consistently ranked among the top three in our county, and we’ve also owned a restaurant together in the past. So we both know how demanding this business is. I work in construction now, and I’ll tell you—restaurant work is harder. These folks showed out, and they earned our respect.
The only downside? The building itself. One bathroom was out of order, the fans weren’t working, and it was uncomfortably warm inside—at least 75+ degrees while it was over 80 outside. The place was clean, which matters a lot—but it definitely needs repairs and working A/C.
📣 To the owner: You’ve got gold in your kitchen and front of house. Your staff is creating a five-star experience in two-star conditions. Step up. Fix the basics—AC, fans, bathroom—and give your team (and customers) the environment they deserve.
👉 We gave four stars only because of the “atmosphere”(condition of the building ) category. The food and service? Easily five stars. In fact, the servers were the only reason the atmosphere didn’t feel worse. Their attitude, professionalism, and kindness carried the whole experience.
We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Chattanooga—but hoping the building catches up to the quality of the...
Read moreI took my family here because of the google review score and did we have an experience! We were greeted by the server approximately 5 mi utes after we sat and she took our drink order and promptly brought our drinks. Then she disappeared for close 20 minutes!!! We finally ordered. The food came out as it was prepared, which was fine. It was tasty... u til the main pizza showed up! They had messed up on our toppings. The server took pizza back to have it corrected and they just threw pepperoni on one side leaving off the other four toppings and reran the same pizza through the oven again!!! Who does that?! The server brought the pizza back out and I told her it was still wrong and she apologized and said they would just comp it. I was semi okay with that and just ate the twice baked dry pizza. After we were done eating the young manager came to our table to see what the problem was and said he couldnt comp the pizza because we ate it!!! Finally, after a heated discussion he did. I would say the say the food was decent and the pizza would have been good also if it was cooked once with the correct toppings. I'm writing this review in hope that the owner sees it and realizes that the establishment definitely has staff issues that need to be addressed.
P.s. overall dining time was over an hour and a half. We saw two different tables sat and leave while we were there because of...
Read moreStopped here for lunch just now. Cold beer was good! Cold baked spaghetti was not. If I knew it was made a long time ago, refridgerated, then microwaved to serve instead of made to order I wouldn't have got it.
Service was good. Place looks cool if not a little run down.
Went here over Mr. T's today because I was craving pasta, but I should've just got pizza. Don't get pasta at a pizza place. Parmesean can't cover up being days old and cold in the middle. Maybe I'll come back to try the pizza one day.
Edit: Came back to try the lunch buffet and to have another cold beer. Was pretty good! However, the quality of the pizza is not worth the price. Crust is indistinguishable from thincrust freezer-oven pizzas. I walked out spending over $21 for a beer and 5 slices from the buffet. I can get a drink (not beer sadly) and my own personal pizza (of better quality) from Mr. Ts for $12!
Inconveignent location being right next to a liquor store. I'm just gonna drop in there, grab a mich ultra for $1.99, chug it, and head to Mr. T's if I want the best bang for my buck around here. Really like the atmosphere of Crust but the price is too high for the quality. Service was great again. Love those two ladies working the front. Sadly the food quality is not up to the pricing standards. Or Mr. Ts is making a loss on me. One...
