Buffalo wings here are completely different than any other Rafael's I have been to (Ooltewah, Cleveland). Girlfriends food was amazing. I had been waiting all week for wings. We ordered online, when we arrived we excitedly opened it up to find that the wings were like breaded chicken wings and relatively bad looking, instead of the amazing Hot buffalo wings at the Ooltewah and Cleveland store. I took the order to the counter and asked if there had been a mix up. I was informed that their menu varies from other Rafael's. I was disappointed, but asked for a refund since my current dietary restrictions prevent me from eating breaded items. I was told since I ordered online I must call menufy.com. I called menufy and they told me it should not be a problem, and they would call me back if it was. A little while later I get a phone call from menufy, "I am so sorry sir, the restaurant is refusing a refund stating there was nothing wrong with the order" I thanked the man on the phone and called Rafaels back. The manager told me we cant refund you, you must call menufy. I explained that i already called menufy as she had previously instructed and they are stating you are refusing to refund. She changed her tune and said you order was not wrong, and we will not refund you. I asked to speak to the owner, and she stated it will not do you any good, he doesn't speak english.
Long Story short * Girlfriend loved her food, Customer service @ this location leaves much to be desired....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited Rafael when they reopened I got a lasagna and a chicken Slovakia on a pita I got home the lasagna looked fine but my chicken Slovakia on a pita had nothing but chicken in it so I called down there and asked him should the chicken Slovakia have more than just chicken in it they said he asked should have peppers and a sauce to come with it a cucumber sauce I said okay could I get replaced another day because I do not want to drive back out there they said yes and they wrote my name down.. so then I went back like 2 weeks later to try it again and when I went in there I explained to them what happened and they were arguing me telling me that I should have went in there the next day to get it replaced but why would I want to eat the same place back to back days it makes no sense to me then they said they probably threw away the paper with my name on it to replace my meal The two people in the front counter and the manager were arguing with me they did not want to replace my food at all so I just paid for the food and left I got home open my food and wow what would you think it was messed up again now my chicken pita was not even a sandwich it was a pita cut up into triangles with chicken and peppers right on top if I can I will submit a picture to show everyone I will never go back to this place again they really don't care about...

I know the menu better than her now since I have to pick other items every time. The first experience was 4 stars, and there were no issues besides her lack of knowledge and inability to ask someone else. The second experience was pretty bad. The rolls were cold and stiff. The Alfredo Pasta Primavera was terrible. Let me explain why. The Alfredo sauce was thin and runny. The vegetables were chewy and odd choices for an Italian dish. There was broccoli, which is to be expected and part of Alfredo. Then I found water chesnuts, green beans, and something else green. I believe I know what happened here. There is a WalMart Grocery store at 3901 Hixson Pike and they bought frozen vegetables. That explains why the veggies were chewy and odd. That makes me angry. While I can not prove the veggies actually came from Wal-Mart I know Frozen veggies that have been microwaved very well since I eat them often at home. This visit was a 1 star, so 3 total is generous. I dare the owner to address this in a public forum. This food...
