Cafe Maru & Deli — Restaurant in Chehalis

The food is good but there are some really crucial things to know about this place that aren't in the description: (1) THIS IS ESSENTIALLY ONLY A TAKE-OUT RESTAURANT. There are a few chairs at a counter, but they seem to be for waiting. If you order soup, like I did, it will not come to you in any way that is really possible to eat without going home to your dishes. (2) THERE IS NO RESTROOM FOR USE AT ALL. If you are a paying customer - and were intending to eat there - you will be directed to drive to the McDonalds a little ways up the road to use the bathroom.

I'm sorry, but if I am paying for food to eat at your establishment, I really don't want to be directed up the road to another food establishment that you don't have a partnership with to use the bathroom.

This is clearly intended to only be a take out place for locals and not a nice local food joint to support when you are road tripping and trying to avoid mass chain food establishments. I think this is important to know for others trying to just "stop...

Was really packed going inside but it was not bad for how small it is in there I guess I did not get a receipt for what I paid for so that was a lil weird. Had to sit there for over 40 mins to get 2 taro bubble teas and 2 spicy teriyaki chicken .. the chicken was a lil spendy and u don't get very much for what u pay but I would say it is actually very good and would recommend trying. I was very excited to learn of a cafe that offers a wide variety of food like sushi, Korean fried chicken as well as things like burgers, and even espresso! An absolutely wonderful little stop for a grab n go lunch or your daily cup of coffee. I went in yesterday and got a poke bowl and a milk tea bubble tea and it was exactly what I wanted! The fish was quality, the lettuce fresh and crunchy, the avocado perfectly ripe. It was so good, I came in again today and got the same order and the quality was just as good the second time! The lady who made my food forgot to add rice to my bowl, but remembered and they caught me in my car before I left and brought me what they forgot.
