Rip Off!
I ordered 2 Cheese Enchiladas 'Red'. The Enchiladas were half empty barely any cheese, in fact there was so little cheese i thougjt maybe they gave me thinly sliced chicken because it was indistiguishable Plus the Enchiladas were completely dry void of moisture. The beans were so watered down, i couldn't decide whether or to ask for a spoon or a straw.
What really pissed me off the most is their Fluxuating prices. Anyone can clearly see the prices on the menu.
This is what I ordered: 2 Asada Tacos priced at $2.25 Each 2 Cheese Enchiladas w/ Rice n Beans $8.00 1 Large Bottle of Coke for $4 Sales Tax is 8.4% The guy says, if i pay cash its $21 like he's giving me a deal. You do the math. He never offered a receipt, now i know why. Scam Artist. Rip Off.
Stay away from this place, the area has so many better food options than this place. Taqueria Lolita is crap, I avoided this place for years and wemt agsinst my better judgement. Never again. And if you insist on eating there, get a itemized breakdown of everything you order with the prices clearly marked.
Otherwise, these places are Superior: Tacos El Rey El Amigo Aliberto's They all give more for your money and far...

Nice, clean, hole in the wall with futbol on the big screen and a chill vibe reminiscent of dining in Mexico. Family owned and operated with the amazing culinary skills of Carmen in the kitchen, Adolpho runs the front of house, and their daughters who are a great support team. It is literally like going to a mate's home for supper.
So many good things to choose from. It is my duty as a chef to tour their menu...we must suffer for our trade (wink). The adobada tacos were spot on. Higher level of spice, but through the good tears I wanted more. Traditional enchiladas were so fresh and so good. Prices were the cheapest around and the quality was at the top end. This will be my new favourite Mexican restaurant in the region.
Support family owned....
Read moreI feel like Taco Time food is better than here. Which is unfortunate, because usually the authentic places like this have better food. The chips tasted off? I don't know what it was, but it didn't taste like a tortilla chip. The refried beans were also super watery.
One thing that also really bothered me was that none of their menus online or in person say what's inside things. One says "burrito" and then you pick a meat. You don't get to know what other things are added if you don't prefer hot sauce (for example).
Some of the food was good, but we also placed the order on the app they recommended and then they still forgot a meal. We didn't find out till we got back to where we were eating (like 20 min away), so that was annoying to have to send someone all the way back for the missing part. Since we used the app, there wasn't really room for miscommunication. Wasn't...
