Been going here for a couple of years now and they still rock. And the people that run this are uncommonly kind and thoughtful. The atmosphere is a quaint, book lovers dream. Well curated used books.
I grab something to eat and browse the books while waiting. I try to snag the single table inside to eat at.
Their burger is juicy. Their baked goods omgâŚI want one right now. And I always get their lavender lemonade if itâs available.
Iâve even purchased a vintage rocker from them. It was upholstered in forest green satin and dark wood stained. Victorian style rocker for $40. Itâs now in a corner of my home library.
Totally perfect for my nerdy, scholarly, Victorian aesthetic.
After I eat or browse, I go across the street to book and brush for more books or art supplies.
And then sometimes I go to Shonaâs British foods for a chai or mocha and take a hand pie home. If I knitted I would totally buy yarn there too.

Some chairs are wooden while others are plush and cushioned. Much of the seating area has access to tables so it would be a good place to work or study. There is a very sweet cat on the premises named Mary. She must be a saint because she put up with several small children during our brief stay. Outside, there are Adirondack chairs on the lawn and a rocking chair on the porch. Worth visiting for sure! I'll...

I only met one of the owners, but she was so personable and easy to talk to, I didn't feel awkward scanning the store really looking. Not to mention the decor and look of the place is comfy and fun, not just a plain book store. I stumbled in one day looking for a pretty specific book I would have not of assumed they had.. well weirdly enough, not only did she have it, but she was reading it when I walked in. She offered to sell it but I wanted her to finish it, but i didnt leave empty handed. Found 3 books I were not expecting to find and a deck of tarot cards! She even made cookies and gave me one on my way out. Will definitely stop when im...
