I enjoy dive bars, but this is a dump. The bar was filthy and smelled of old shoes and dirty laundry. Market St. Pub was closed for cleanup after a celebration so I was forced into what seemed like an episode of, "What would you do?" This extremely disinterested, unkept bartender took tens of minutes taking my beer order, getting my pulltabs, and keeping my beers coming. There wasn't a large crowd to excuse the lack of service, and once her sister came in, my server reached another low gear in her motivation to make my experience a positive one by catching up on family drama. Well took some advice from an acquaintance. It was a boring restless Tuesday, not much usually going on...on Tuesday's. Today 😒 Tuesday July 27th was my 62nd birthday and I wanted to sing, to be happy and not feel too much pain. Singing is the number one cure for pain. No being 6" 8" and 210 lbs I'm used to getting the look over but down home good natured people are what I found this first time visiting the Sidelines Sport's Bar. I received excellent service, a premium drink, a good little bit of entertainment and I got to sing a song. I might have been a little uncomfortable walking in with a suit and tie but heck...I'd have just ditched the tie in my truck and collected the good time I had...

Wow, a hidden gem, downtown Chehalis. Do not let the "Hole in the wall" appearance scare you away. This historic little bar is cranking out some awesome food. The Chef's salad is like the Club Sandwich, made with 6oz of ham, 6oz of turkey, cheese. Tomatoes, Lettuce, olives, onions and don't forget, Bacon. The Taco salad is loaded with meat and toppings, served ina taco bowl or homemade chips. Go with the chips they are to die for. Our bartender/waitress/chef (Laura)was great.
